60 second science competition

Do you want to win up to $400? Just by doing your school work, you could win up to $400.
Your project is to make a 60 second video to explain a science topic and enter it into the 60
second science competition. Choose ONE of the science topics below for your video:

Why do we have day and night


Why are days longer in summer than in winter
Why do some places have 24 hour daylight and 24 hour darkness
Why are there seasons
Why do some places have wet and dry seasons
How do Aboriginal seasons work
Why does the moon look different every night
Why are there high tides and low tides
How do microbes reproduce
How is yoghurt made
How does bread dough rise
How do germs and diseases spread

If you have another science topic you would like to explain, negotiate with Ms Leung. The science
topic must be about space, living things or microbes.
