1 Samuel 2:30 Those who honour me I will honour, and those who despise me shall be lightly esteemed. We are so blessed with many wonderful people and God truly is doing some amazing things throughout our church. Here are just a few that come to mind: - Food hampers and aid for those in need - High School and University Ministry - Preparation for Globalheart Church Zambia - Young Adults Mens Recovery Centre - People being saved daily throughout various ministries All these things are so good, but lets keep squarely in the centre of our hearts that its all for the honour of Him. Even in our loving and blessing of people, doing it for His honour will keep us safe and will help us develop right perspective. We come into this life with nothing and we will leave the same way. However in the middle of it all, we are and will be truly blessed!! If thats not quite your experience yet, stay faithful and ask God what is your part. (What do you need to do right now?) Lets honour Him in our job, our family, our friendships, our university, our business and our church. We are called to be a church that honours Jesus first in all things. The amazing thing is that God is reciprocal in then bringing honour to our lives.

Its always so much fun when we get together! We want to say a huge THANK YOU to all of the girls who helped to make the recent ACW Afternoon Tea with Ps Donna Crouch so special! I am so excited because coming up in Term 2 we will be having our annual Posh Swap! These are so much fun, and are a fantastic opportunity to invite your friends to! So if you are cleaning out your closet, remember to keep those good quality pre-loved clothes to one side. Tuesdays at Gods Girls are off to a great start and this year we have some great groups which will inspire and challenge you. We have a Bible Study, Mums Group, Business Connect, Creative Group and Equipped Foundations Course. We have also just launched a new Sewing Master Class! Don't stay at home on your own. Set apart your Tuesday mornings for some quality girlfriend time and come join us! Sometimes stepping out can be hard, but it is so worth it! Who knows what God friendships await you!

testimonies oF transformation
I have always been someone who has been searching for a deep meaning in my life. This search for answers led me to many places such as science, eastern philosophy, psychology and I also became a practitioner of Buddhism for 13 years. Whilst I learnt some interesting things, I felt there was still something missing. This missing piece was in fact something very big a personal relationship with a loving God. After struggling with the dilemma of whether I should stay a Buddhist or search for God in Christianity I eventually put this concern directly to God in prayer. After moving to Australia I struggled to settle with a new Buddhist group, I was hiring a car opposite Globalheart Church when I observed people walking out and I said to my wife, Maybe we should go somewhere like that. To my amazement, several weeks later we had an unexpected invite to go to church and we were even more amazed when it turned out to be this very church. It seems that when you take one step towards God, He will take 10 steps towards you! After walking into Globalheart Church it felt like the prodigal son had finally returned home. Immediately my wife and I fell in love with the church, its atmosphere, teachings, music and praise. After several months I was invited to the Mens Conference Rise and Stand by a man who even paid for my ticket! When I was at the conference I felt something stirring up inside me and I eventually put my hand up to receive Jesus into my life. Since my salvation, my faith in God has gone from strength to strength and all I want to do is to deepen that relationship. In March 2013 I was baptised and I am so thankful to God for all He has done for me. -
