Walk in-interview on 15th April 2013 at Regional Office, Siliguri NHPC Limited, a Mini Ratna Schedule A, Enterprise of Government of India, is looking for Engineers in Electrical discipline On Fixed Tenure Basis for TLDP-III, West Bengal & Rangit Power Station, Sikkim. Introduction about the job To cater to the urgent requirement for Operation & Maintenance of Power Stations / Projects, NHPC urgently requires Engineers in Electrical Discipline on Fixed Tenure basis for a period of ONE year. Essential Qualification: B.E./ B.Tech. degree / AMIE in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/ Institute approved by AICTE with minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade UPPER AGE LIMIT: Upper Age limit for all above posts is 30 years as on 01.04.2013. The upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and additional 5 years for PwD (Persons with Disabilities) candidates in each category. RESERVATIONS AND RELAXATIONS: The relaxation in age and reservation for SC/ST/OBC/ Persons with Disabilities (PwD)/Ex-serviceman/J&K Migrants will be as per the Govt. Norms & directives. COMPENSATION PACKAGE: Consolidated remuneration of `16,500/-per month. Absence during the month will not be reckoned for the purpose of payment of compensation. If period extended further for one year then in the 2 nd year remuneration shall be increased based on the performance and the discretion of the management and shall be to the tune of `18,150/-per month. Transport Allowances at the rate of `3,000/-per month shall be payable subject to use of own conveyance by the Engineer-FTB for official purpose for more than 15 days in a month. Incentive of `2,500/-per month shall be payable on achievement of 100% target assigned by the management. On 80 to 100% achievement of targets; incentive shall be payable proportionately. Income tax deduction at source will be as per Income Tax Act.

MEDICAL FITNESS: Your Appointment is further subject to your furnishing a certificate from Govt Chief Medical Officer / Civil Surgeon of the District Hospital authorised to issue such certificate stating that you are medically fit for taking up this assignment.
