Dear Family and Friends,

Greetings! I (Kevin) hope that this letter finds you well. We are currently in Tennessee enjoying our visit with Darleens family. We are also collecting our remaining belongs we had left behind while living and completing my internship with Warner Ave Baptist Church. As you know, our lives have taken an exciting turn. The Lord has redirected a new path for us to take in our missionary journey. He has graciously and providentially revealed this step; therefore, we are very excited to tell you that we have been appointed to serve Him under Village Missions. Village Missions conducts a missionary ministry in a local church context by placing leadership in primarily rural areas of North America. In a fortnight we will be on our way to serve in a small country church in Stonyford, CA. We really want to live out the motto of Village Missions: Preach the Word, Love the People. Preaching is a dying and under appreciated art in our day and age; however, the fact remains, Christ wants us to present His Gospel. This means that I will be preparing expositional sermons from the Word and presenting them to the community. Loving the People is another main focus for Village Missionaries. We will be out in the community spending time with the Our fellow Candidates at Village people God has called us to serve. We want to Missions, Dallas, OR follow Christs example and love them with His everlasting love. This is only possible with His strength. Enclosed (or attached) you will find a brochure where you will hear a little bit more about Village Missions, as well as how to join our support team. You can indicate how you would like to support Village Missions, tear it off and mail it to Village Missions (addresses are on the reverse of the

brochure). There is also a paper entitled Village Missions Auto-Gift Service if you would like to give on a monthly basis. We will have pictures celebrate his 1st birthday in August. of our new home and church very soon! We leave for our assignment in just two weeks, to be on our field in May.
