Ministries!will!be!embarking! yet!again!on!an!epic!quest!to! reflect!the!light!of!God!to!a!city! that!is!in!desperate!need.!We! will!be!traveling!to!San!Francisco,!CA!to!take!part!in!the! ongoing!ministries!of!City!Impact.!During!the!trip!we!will! have!the!opportunity!to!help!people!in!various!ways,! including:!! San Francisco Rescue Mission - Help with their Morning Cafe and Evening Celebration, as well as other services offered to the underserved residents of San Francisco. San Francisco City Impact Kitchen - Help cook food for the San Francisco Rescue Mission and students at San Francisco City Academy. Community Visitation- Help visit residents and deliver groceries to the families. The!Tenderloin!area!of!San!Francisco!is!home!to!intense!need,! and!many!of!the!residents!are!struggling!to!meet!even!the! most!basic!needs.!We!have!the!opportunity!to!bring!relief!and! healing!to!people!that!society!has!forgotten,!and!show!them! the!love!that!God!has!for!them.!Will!you!pray!and!think!about! coming!with!us!on!this!journey?! ! MISSIONS TRIP SCHEDULE

Dates: July 20th-July 30th, 2013
We will be departing Saturday July 20th at 6PM. Below is a sample of what our week will look like: July 20: Meet at the church at 6:00 with all luggage Please eat dinner before you arrive PLEASE DO NOT HAVE ENERGY DRINKS OR COFFEE BEFORE WE DEPART! (Since we will be driving all night we ask that students do not drink energy drinks or coffee during travel days. As leaders we reserve the right to not allow drinks of this type on the trip.) st July 21 : Spend the night in Pine Grove, CA July 22nd July 26th: Week of Ministry with City Impact July 27th: Fun Day exploring San Francisco July 28th: Fun Day at Californias Great America Theme Park (Santa Clara, CA) th July 29 : Leave Santa Clara for Wenatchee. July 30th: Arrive early morning

COST AND FUNDRAISING

Cost: $700 ($50 Registration Fee due May 1st)
This amount covers all meals, lodging, transportation, activities (including admission to Great America) and a t-shirt. We encourage everyone to bring spending money as well, but it is not necessary. We are working on putting together three fundraisers and will have more information as the trip gets closer. Confirmed: Pancake Breakfast at Applebees in Wenatchee on June 8. Students will pre-sell tickets and receive credit for what they sell, for working at the event and they may get tips too. In Process: Blue Spoon Fundraiser: We will invite our church family and friends to have frozen yogurt with us. We do some cleaning and stocking and get 40% of the proceeds. Safeway: We will offer to pump peoples gas and accept tips for doing it. Other: If you have great ideas, or want to run a car wash or something, let us know because we would love the help!

-Luggage allowed- 1 suitcase or duffel bag per person plus 1 backpack/purse -Anyone with med's needs to talk to Tiffanney -Cell phones are allowed, BUT not for use during ANY ministry time -iPods or MP3 players are only allowed if it's Christian music -Portable DVD player's or game systems are okay, but will not be allowed during ministry time and students must be responsible for their things! ALL movies MUST be appropriate and cannot be rated R! -All of your expenses are covered except for snacks and drinks between meals. It is a good idea to bring a water bottle. -City Impact has a need for socks so if you are interested in picking up a package they can use them. Dear friends, I am very excited about an opportunity that I have this summer to go to San Francisco, CA for a shortterm missions trip. I know that God is leading me to be a part of the outreach through City Impact this summer. During this trip we will focus on several different ways to help people, including:

My group will be leaving on July 20th and returning on July 30th. I am really excited about being a part of this experience, and I hope that after what I have shared with you, youre joining my excitement. I recently sent in my registration, and now I need to begin raising the $700 that it costs for my share of the trip. Im writing you, not only to let you know about this opportunity that I am going to have a part in, but also ask you if you would consider supporting me in this. I am in need of two kinds of support-prayer and financial.
