In the name of God amen, I Nathan Beall of Washington County and State of Kentucky being in
a weak state of body, but in perfect mind and memory thanks be given to God calling to mind the
morality of the body, and knowing that its appointed for all men once to dy, do make and ordain
this my last will and testament, that is to say, principally and first of all I recommend my soul to
the hands of All mighty God that gave it and any body I recommend to the Earth to be decently
buried in Christian like manner at the discretion of my executrix herein after mentioned nothing
doubting but at the general resurrection I shall revive the same again by the mighty power of
God; and as touching such worldly estate wherewith it has been pleased God to bless me in this
life I give demise and dispose of the same in the sound_____ in following manner and form

ITEM I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Beall my dwelling plantation with all its
apportionment thereunto belonging with a sufficiency of wood and lumber for its use and to clear
more land adjoining the same if she may think proper so long as she remains a widow,

ITEM I give and bequeath that tract of land I now live on to be equally divided between my three
sons, to wit, Jesse Beall, William Beall, and Washington Beall when they arrive at full age,
ITEM I give and bequeath to my three daughters, Tabitha Hudspeath, Polly Beall, & Nancy
Beall so much out of my estate in the State of Maryland as will be equal in value to lands given
as of said to my three sons. And further is the said Polly or Nancy should dy without heir
lawfully begotten of their body its my will and desire that her part shall descend to the surviving
one and my three sons before mentioned all equal,

ITEM I give and bequeath power to my executrix to pay out of my estate the state of Maryland
to four of my children, Jesse Beall, William Beall, Tabitha Hudspeath, and Washington Beall the
state of Eighty dollars each which was left them by their grandfather in the state of Maryland.

ITEM: I give and bequeath to my two youngest daughters Polly Beall & Nancy Beall eighty
dollars each to be paid out of my estate in the State of Maryland and of either of them should dy
without heir lawfully of their body its to be equally divided between the others thats now single
and is living with me.

ITEM: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Sarah Beall my five ____, to wit, Sampson,
Henry, Alexander, Susanna, and Henry with all my personal estate during ___ life and at her
death to dispose of as she may think proper.

ITEM: I give and bequeath to my daughter Elizabeth Noland & Bernard Noland the sum of
five shillings currency of this state of be paid them out of my estate.

ITEM: I give & bequeath the residue of my estate in the state of Maryland after my executrix
paying all the legal demand that shall appear against me, to be equally divided amongst my six
children, to wit, Jesse Beall, William Beall, Tabitha Hudspeth, Washington Beall, Polly Beall &
Nancy Beall, and ____ of the five children thats now single and living with me should dy
without heir of their body lawfully begotten the Survivors to heir their part.

And furthermore its my will and desire that my wife Sarah Beall be the sole executrix of this my
last will and testament and do hereby revoke and disannull all and every other former wills, ____
____ and _________ by me before named will. I bequeath . Ratifying this my last will and
testament I testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and afforded my seal this twenty
month day of July Eighteen hundred and two. Item: I give and bequeath to my wife Sarah Beall
the sum of four hundred and five dollars in the hand of William Whitaker to dispose of as she
may think proper.
