PERFORMANCE OPERATIONS COURSES

Objective
To train flight operations staff on: Airbus performance documentation, Aircraft systems, Computation programs, Regulatory aspects of aircraft performance with reminders on performance theory. These courses, available for any type of aircraft, are based on theory presentations and on practical exercises. Performance tools used during training: PEP (Performance Engineer Programmes), LPC-NG (Less Paper Cockpit-New Generation), TIPWB (Training Interface for Performance and Weight & Balance), LTS (Load and Trim Sheet software).

PERFORMANCE ENGINEERING COURSES

FOR PERFORMANCE ENGINEERS BASIC (G02) Theoretical and regulatory performance reminders, General familiarization with Airbus performance documentation, computation programs and aircraft systems. ADVANCED (G09) Practical training on EOSID (Engine Out Standard Instrument Departure) design philosophy, oxygen and engine failure constraints for flights over mountainous areas and ETOPS route studies. FOR WEIGHT & BALANCE (W&B) ENGINEERS (G06) Detailed description of the Airbus method for the design of a balance chart (calculation of centre of gravity (CG) envelope curtailments), Highlights of the main loading specifics and limitations of Airbus aircraft, Overview of operational loading documents and Airbus documentation.

LPC-NG ADMINISTRATION COURSE

LPC-NG ADMINISTRATION COURSE (G04) Overview of Less Paper Cockpit-New Generation (LPC-NG) performance and weight & balance modules: environment, user interface and administration tools, Specific training on LPC-NG administration and coordination within the airline.

FLIGHT CREW INSTRUCTION COURSE AIRCRAFT OPERATIONS COURSES

FOR DISPATCHERS (G03) Presentation of Airbus performance documentation and aircraft systems, Overview of the additional knowledge necessary for extended range operations (ETOPS), FLIGHT CREW INSTRUCTION COURSE (G08) Specific training to qualify trainee as a flight crew performance instructor.
