Chapter Development

No Chapter Left Behind

We understand that no two chapters are the same. We know that each chapter has different goals they want to achieve throughout the year and as members of the state board we want to make that possible. For each chapter that wants our help, we would like to offer some assistance. Our ideas include the following: Members from the state board will travel to your respective campus in order to sit down and discuss your vision as leaders of the club and to understand your campus environment. We will maintain contact with your chapter, specifically board members and talk via conference call once per month in order to ensure that everything is flowing smoothly. On these conference calls we will share events or ideas that other chairs have successfully implemented. You will be provided with a list of possible speakers within your area and their contact information so that you can connect with them about speaking opportunities.

We will put you in touch with local BPOUs to strengthen your relationships with local activists, pool resources, and assist each other in community events. If your campus is having trouble coming up with exciting event ideas, we will send you a list of fun events we have done in the past or would like to do in the future. It is difficult to run a chapter and gain new membership if funds are not readily available. We want to make sure that you have enough to be successful, even if that means filing for a MNCRs grant. On campuses that allow canvassing, we want to provide chapters with individualized lit that have meeting times and locations on them. We also plan to assist in tabling during activities fairs. We also want to assist chapters in their social media activity. Social media is an effective method of communicating with other college students and we are willing to offer training for board members through webinars or sessions in the metro area depending on the chapter. We will elaborate further in our social media document. We will assist in connecting your chapter with other like-minded conservative groups such as CUFI, Students for Human Life, CFACT, etc.

Team Hasek is here to serve you and we want to help to ensure that your chapter is as successful as possible. The whole purpose of building strong chapters is so that we can have the boots on the ground ready to be utilized by the Republican Party in 2014 to win elections. College Republicans will continue to be a force to be reckoned with.
