The second company Mistura Informatics Ltd recently launched the new MaPPs product which stands for; Medicine A Patient Profile Summary. A system which can produce a summary of ALL a patients medication in electronic format which can be printed out for the patient or electronically stored for uploading to clinical records. The service delivers high quality patient information leaflets in easy to read text highlighting what is really important for patients to both aid and improve their adherence and understanding.

Adherence Therapy
The best medication in the world is completely ineffective unless people take it!
The Problem of non-adherence is well reported and documented. Up to 50% of people dont take their medication as prescribed - this is a major issue that has far reaching consequences clinically, financially and personally. Improving patients adherence to medications is a critical part to achieving medicines optimisation in practice. The Solution is our Adherence Therapy Intervention developed by Professor Richard Gray. This equips health care workers with the ability to use Adherence Therapy as part of their daily practice with patients, to understand and help work towards common goals about their beliefs, attitudes and behaviours to their treatment. Central to Adherence Therapy is the concept that when patients make shared choices with a professional; they are more likely to stick with them because they are personally owned and meaningful. The Evidence recently published proves that following implementation of Adherence Therapy by healthcare professionals there were significant improvements in patient outcomes.
