COVER SHEET
The Department of Aerospace Engineerings Summer 2013 Camp SOAR (July 21-26, 2013) is a special five-day camp designed to give upcoming high school juniors and seniors with an interest in pursuing aerospace engineering as a career an opportunity to explore aerospace at Texas A&M. It is requested that the applicant be a US citizen. In order to apply for Camp SOAR, you must complete and return all items listed below, and they must be postmarked no later than May 21, 2013. Cover sheet Camp Soar Application The students most current official transcript Essay #1: In 250 words or less, state why you are interested in Aerospace Engineering. Essay #2: In 250 words or less, describe your biggest obstacle in life and how you overcame it. Recommendation Form to be completed by high school math or science teacher (If instructor is sending the recommendation separately or your institution is sending the transcript separately, please indicate this on your application).
Please make sure all sections of your application are completed in the format provided and mailed in a single envelope. Incomplete applications will not be considered. Upon selection, applicants will be required to send a $400 fee to confirm participation.
