Job Descriptions: Prepares and / or reviews existing work instructions and product specifications for regular updating Establish standard tolerances for inspection tests Establish and maintain the total quality assurance system in offset and rotogravure operations Conducts internal quality audits of different departments Conducts material and process identification tests Conducts laboratory tests, machine trials and stability test required on all developmental jobs] Evaluates test results and prepares reports of all developmental projects conducted Prepares color standards (LSD) for all developmental jobs and ensures conformance to quality required by clients Prepare samples for machine ability and validation tests by clients Performs raw materials tests / analyses for prospective / alternative suppliers and prepares evaluation reports Responsible for the use and safekeeping of all office machines and instruments in the laboratory Responsible for documents and samples filing, safety and housekeeping in the work area Oversees the entire product development process of assigned jobs and assure control and correctness of jobs in progress Coordinates with production all concerns and issues regarding product development Monitors all proofing jobs and prepares progression files for all developmental jobs Ensures raw materials availability for all proofing jobs Maintains and controls all LSD files of developmental jobs Assists in evaluating machine ability test at the cust omers plant as required Conduct research activities in sourcing for cost effective and alternative raw materials, for process improvement and or equipment upgrades Conducts market surveys for prospective clients for both offset and rotogravure operations Align with customer on agreed standard specifications of developmental jobs Initiates in addressing all technical and quality related inquiries from the customer Performs other tasks as may be required from time to time

Qualifications: Graduate of BS Chemistry or BS Chemical Engineering With good moral character, good interpersonal and communication skills
