I have actually enjoyed creating this assignment because it gives me a chance to talk with sisters and get their

opinions of Chi Omega and Greek Life. It also gives me a chance to learn from sisters that have been involved for many years and also those that are just beginning their journey in Chi Omega. I hope to look back on this video and see just how much Ive grown in Chi Omega since then and how I am capable of relating for those older sisters. The peer workshop helped me decide where to incorporate the articles for this assignment. Their feedback was taken into consideration when deciding the placement of both articles. I feel that I received very vague feedback. I saw that both my critiques and praises were very vague and lacked a lot of description. I had to use my best judgment deciding what my peers meant by certain comments or how they thought it should be improved. One of the aspects they thought I did well was that I included many transitions and how it helped map the different interviews and photos of the project. They both mentioned that I needed to incorporate at least one more song so that there was sound playing throughout the entire video. They also thought that the song choice helped incorporate the main idea so that the audience knew right away the focus of my project. The songs that I had playing were called Sorority Girl by Luke Bryan and Chi O Lasts Forever. I wish that I had received more concrete critiques or examples of where they thought I should make changes on this assignment. One of their critiques I decided not to change was that they thought my interviews should have been set up more like a conversation. My purpose of allowing the sisters to strictly talk on their own about different aspects of Chi Omega was to allow many sisters the chance to speak and get opinions rather than a question and answer section. When grading my assignment I hope that you see how passionate I am about my sorority. Although I am a newly initiated sister I hope to gain knowledge and leadership experience within Chi Omega throughout my college experience. I think that this video shows the other side of Greek life. Many students have misconceptions of Greek Life. I know that when I first decided to rush I was unsure of the purposes of a sorority. I also want you to know when grading this that I used the first minute to show photos so that the audience had a chance to get a quick look of the many things that Chi Omegas do. When setting up the video I strategically placed interviews together that went along with each other. I wanted the interview about Airband with the Airband clip. I also placed sisterhood, community service, and scholarship together because they are apart of our six founding purposes. The reason for beginning with the interview about stereotypes and misconceptions to Greek Life is to set up the idea to show the different aspects of a sorority rather than the way society sees it.
