Abstract

This paper explores the provinces of Cordillera

Administrative Region found in the Philippines through an
ethnolinguistic mapping approach. The purpose of this
study is to feature and to understand the culture of
minority groups who retain their customs, traditions, and
language in spite of the presence of homogenizing
impacts of globalization. Analysis, interpretation and a
study on a native dialect comprising of different literary
works originated in the respective provinces will be
presented. And the conclusion that the deep appreciation
of an ethnic culture can help in determining our identity
will be discussed as well.
