SPEAKING TOPICS - B1 Introduce yourself Good teacher! First, let me tell briefly about myself. My name is Te. I fourty nine years old. I come from Bac Ninh province. I got married 22 years ago and have a son 21 years old, he is a student and have a daughter, she is a hight school students. My wife is an engineer. I am currently teaching at the College of statistics. I enjoy my job very much. Now, I am studing a course of master. (Now I am doing a Master course of biology at Academy KTQS). My hobbies are cooking and walking. In free time, I usualy watch TV and read books with my son. 1. Your family My family have 4 members: my wife, my son, my daughter and me. I have worked in the College of statistics since 2009. My main job is to teach math. My wife is an aquaculture engineer and works in Viet Thang company. She freedom in his job because she helps technology for customers of her company. However, my wife works far away from home and usually go home on weekends. She is younger than me 6 years old. We got married 22 years ago and had two children. My son is learning in the National University of Hanoi. But my daughter is a high school student. I love my children. 2. Describing my mother My coworker is beautiful. She is the same my year old and is a teacher of preschool education. I saw her in my friend s wedding. Then, we became friends. She has a straight long hair. She is as tall as me. She is intelligent, accessible (d gn gi), informal (thn mt) and persuasive (ng tin cy). Specially, she is good at information technology and usually helps me solve troubles which are relative computer. She used to read literature books such as: Gone with the Wind, legends (truyn c tch) of foreign countries. She also likes reading the Youth newspaper. She used to dress black skirt with white T-shirt going to school. She looks very lovely. Now, she is one of my best friends.

3. Your job I am a teacher in the College of statistics since . I have worked there since 2009 after graduating in Hanoi national university of Education. My job was teaching math. I usually go to work at 6.30. I love my students because they are very active, quick at learning and research. Now, I am doing a postgraduate course towards the Master Degree. When I finish my course here, I will continue my work. I like my work very much. 4. Your living place I am living in AG province. It is a beautiful city with many mountains such as: the Sam mountain, the Cam mountain.. In the Sam mountain, there are very many beautiful sights. There are many trees there. It makes us feel comfortable and healthy. Besides, there are many pagodas in mountain. You can pray for your family. Specially, There is rice pancake folded in half (bnh xo) which is filled with a shrimp, meat and soya bean sprouts (gi), sometimes with green peas, carrot. You can enjoy it with a lot of vegetables and fish sauce. It is very delicious with a cheap cost. There is a second-hand market. This market has many things from clothes to household use as TV, fridge, washing machin and so on. It is a wonderful place to travel in holiday. 5. Your childhood In my mind, childhood is the happiest time in the whole time of life that I can not forget. There is no responsibility and everything seems entertainment. When I was a baby, I was taken care of carefully by my parents and grandparents. I used to go around with my parent in the afternoon. I used to go fishing, pick up fruits, wild flowers and butterflies in the field with my neighbour. Sometimes, we practiced cooking and had a small party in my house. Each of us in the group brought something to cook a meal and we were fun together. I spent the period fo childhood happily with family. 6. Your habit When I was a student, I used to walk every morning. I got up at 4.30 and had awash myself. After that I walked along the street to school. I played voleyball

with some other people and came back at 6.00. Later, I went to the bathroom and had breakfast. I had done that after graduating from the university. However, I gave up it when I had a baby in 2008. It is very good for healthy but I dont have enough time. I think I will do it again with my husband and my son when my son is older. 7. Your future plan After graduating, in next year, I hope to build a small house with 3 rooms: a living room, a bed room and a bath room. Now, I have a few money but it is not enough for biulding. Perhaps, I have to borrow some money from the bank. After that, in 4 or 5 years, I will have a second baby. I have a four-year-old son. So I will be very glad if I have a girl baby. I intend to do a Doctor Degree when my baby is in primary school. My husband and family support my that plan. They will creat good conditions let me do anythings not only finance but also spirit. I hope my plan will succeed perfectly.
