THE INVISIBLE PATH TO HONOUR

Foundation Scriptures

Psalm 66:10-12
1 Peter 1:6-9; 5:10; 4:12-14, 16, 19

Of a truth, every greatness begins with preparation.

Preparation is the process of a man’s making. No man enjoys tough times. The days of
adversity are regarded as ‘persona non grata’. They are never welcoming at all.

Dr. Mike Murdock said that adversity is the breeding ground for greatness. Every great
man or woman has, at least, an enjoyed story to tell.

Only few people understand by the Holy Ghost that the days of adversity are for their
making. God uses several tools in the making of a great person. His ways are completely
different from our ways. That is why some people don’t seem to understand the process
they are going through.

1. Job can tell of this fact (Job 23:8-14).

2. David also can tell of this (The story of King David).
3. Abraham too, who went childless for 99 yrs.
4. Jesus Christ also (Hebrew 12:2). He wept on the cross, “My God, My God; why
has thou forsaken me”.

This is a proof that no man enjoys pain. No product under production enjoys the process,
though it has no power to utter a word. Sometimes, the manufacturer releases a sample
into the market to examine the marketability of such a product. That does mean that he is
through with the making. God does same with us. And at this time, we may think that the
process is adversity is ended until the next phase shows up and we are like, “God! Why
again?” But it happens because He is not through with us yet. The bible says, “…after
you have suffered a while…”

No manufacturer takes it easy or sympathizes with his product under the process of
production, especially when he desires the best out of it. The end is always his
expectation. So also, God knows what He is producing out of us- the best. Your best is on
the way to be shortly revealed.

Great inventions today were born out of adversity. Adversity helps your mental prowess
to produce unimaginably at its best. The bible says, “Sorrow is better than laughter: for
by the sadness of the countenance the heart is made better” (Ecclesiastes 7:3). Great men
have always been the products of adversity any day, any time. It is not designed to kill us
but for our making. We are products of different experiences.

5. The Children of Israel in Egypt can tell better about this (Exodus 2:23-25).
6. Joseph (from his brothers and also in Egypt).
7. What about Ruth, who later became the great grandmother of Jesus Christ?

No matter the position you are, every page before the next level is not always easy.
Sometimes, you could even get loss along the journey of life, not knowing that you are
about to emerge a ‘Champion’. Hallelujah!

What to do in the days of adversity

There is always what to do in the days of adversity if you must overcome those days.
1. Try to see things the way God see them (Isaiah 11:1-3). These adversities come
inform of struggle, sickness, lack, persecution, humiliation, periodic rejection, etc.
but the truth is that they are manufacturer’s tools in disguise.
2. Understand that in the making of a tool for usage, the material the experiences so
many pains but is for its honour (Proverbs 27:21).
3. Commit yourself to God hands via prayer, worshiping in His presence and
studying His word (1 Peter 4:16, 19; Habakkuk 3:17-19).

Note

Praying in His presence renews your strength (Isaiah 40:29-30). It takes the Spirit of God
to see God’s mind over regarding your situation (1 Corinthians 2:9-11).

The reasons of a matter are revealed in the place of prayer. (God uses situations to
sometimes to get our attentions).

Your burden id released upon Jesus in the place of prayer (1 Peter 5:7).

Yokes, anger, bitterness over your situation and unhappiness are broken in the place of
prayer (Isaiah 58:6, 8).

4. Wait patiently for the Lord’s time (Job 14:14; Hebrew 10:35, 36).

Jesus says, “In your patience, possess ye your soul.” (Luke 21:19). Remember, if you are
not done you are not eatable!

He that overcomes shall wear the crown of life. If you jump down from the cross, you
will not be qualified for the crown. If you refuse the valley, you will not see the top.

See you again, and God bless you real good!
