Students are able to explain the content of the text by describing the characters, situation, and condition in the text they read through a performance which is drama

Procedures Greeting Students greet the teacher; Jingle and Sharing Book Session Pre-Reading 1. The teacher distributes handout to the students. It consist of a text / as a scene. 2. The teacher assigns students to read the text silently (5) 3. The teacher asks students to answer the questions (1) Main Activity 1. The teacher asks students to stand up and make a circle. (3) 2. Students are asked to sit down and close their eyes (2) 3. The students are asked to listen to the text (a scene) read/played by the teacher. Then they are asked to imagine the situation and condition in the text (a scene) read by the teacher and also the characters in the text. 4. In the middle of activity, the teacher will choose some students to describe the characters, the situation, and condition in the text (a scene)

The teacher asks students to stand up and think about something they are going to do in a few seconds The teacher asks students to show what they are thinking using their body language (mimes, gestures, and other movements). Once the teacher claps her hands the students will stop moving (freeze for a while). Then students are asked to think about another thing. Then the teacher will clap her hand again, the students will show what they are thinking through their body language like in the previous activity. In the middle of activity, the teacher will choose some students to describe what they are thinking The teacher guide the students in doing the activity. 15 Paper

Post activity 1. The teacher groups the student consist of 5 or 4. Students are asked to re-read the first text given by the teacher, discuss more about the character, situation, and condition in the text. Then, In group students are asked to perform a drama theatre based on the text. 2. Students are asked to answer the questions after finishing the drama theatre

Closing/review

The teacher asks students about what they have learnt from todays meeting. The teacher asks students to write the students reflection on a piece of paper
