Once the passenger enter inside the terminal after terminal checking process Baggage screening will take 8secs for every bag 2 baggage screening facilities and they used by different airlines Checkin process will take around 2 to 5 min 24 checkin counters and each airline will use 2 counters at a time Frisking process will take 46 to 118 secs Separate security checks for man male and female

Arrival terminal
Both domestic and international areas are separated with a glass wall 30 seats are provided for visitors Television advertisements along with flight informations Separate VIP lounges for both domestic and international passengers Escalator facilities along with staircase o 1 for domestic arrival o 1 for international arrival o 1 for domestic departure o 1 for international departure 3 conveyer belts ( 30m length) o 2 for domestic (no. 2 & 3) o 1 for international (no. 1) Flight information board Several security cameras Centralized a/c system With glass wall separate visitors from passengers Lift facility also provided 4 security staffs o 1 at the terminal entrance o 1 at the visitors area

After Flight arrived announcement

After 12min first passenger arrive at the terminal After 16min delivery of first baggage After 18min all passengers will arrive at the terminal After 28min conveyer belt will stop After 30min all passengers leave the terminal

100 prepaid taxies are avaliable 30 years of service Minimum of 100 trips in a day Almost 30 trips to Ooty 56 partners running this service Indigo and logan are the cars used for taxi services

Observations
Empty fire extinguisher box adjacent to ticket counter Lack of greenery Airport canteen working in an old building. It like an average running tea shop and not upto the standard of an international airport Revenue is generated through trolley advertisements, advertisement boards both inside and outside the terminal Announcements inside the arrival terminal is not clear due to echo No conveyer belt advertisements
