PRESS RELEASE

For Immediate Release Homicide 38th and Grape Street

DENVER, CO On Wednesday, April 24, 2013, at 9:13 p.m. Denver Police received a call of a shooting in the 3800 Block of Grape Street. When officers arrived on scene they found one male victim who appeared to be suffering from gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to an area hospital where he later died. Through the investigation police have learned the victim and the suspect were involved in an argument when the suspect produced a gun and shot the victim. The suspect fled the scene but was arrested several hours later. The suspect is being held for investigation of First Degree Murder. The suspect identity is still pending positive identification. The exact cause of death of the victim and his identification will be released by the Denver Office of the Medical Examiner.
