EXECUTIVE SUMMARRY We recognize that our staff are the greatest asset and we need to provide recruitment and induction processes to ensuring our new employee becomes effective because newly recruited staff normally not familiar with the environment of the workplace. These team-building activities will bring employees more effective. They will start enjoying their work and feel fresh for the entire day. The productivity increases when individuals work as a team. They tend to divide work among themselves and hence the objectives are achieved at a much faster pace and they might take less leaves and concentrate more on their work and eventually the organization benefits. This plan will cost less than RM3000 and will improve our productivity and performance of newly recruited staff.
Background Our record of newly recruited staff performance for last six months was quite dissatisfied. Reports from the supervisors of each departments show there some problems with new recruited staff. The survey was conducted to analyze the causes that implement their performance.
Data Sources The data used to create this proposal came from our Human Resources Department, feedback from Marketing Department, report from supervisor from each department, and survey conducted to the new recruited staff.
Problem Newly recruited staff basically not familiar with workplace environment including the job description and task, their position and responsibilities as well as who are their immediate colleagues. These will cause the ineffective worker and might be cause conflicts in workplace.
Objectives The purpose of this proposal is to give the clear picture of the work to the newcomers in order to achieve effective teamwork where this will helps to improve the productivity by allowing employees to work well together as well as to create a positive work environment.
Plan of work A team-building week should be held in order to a positive work environment. Conclusion Team work must be encouraged at workplace to strengthen the bond among the employees and the targets can be met at a faster pace. Workload is shared and individuals feel motivated to perform better than his team members.
