Reformation and 18th century The reformation and the 18th century had a great impact in England. New forms to write literature were used like satires, journalism, and novels. Although great piece of literature arise they were lacked of spiritual vision, compassion, sense of beauty and love for nature. Instead their main subjects were those that refer to the cold intellect that were represented in a satirical, didactic and argumentative form. (English literature). These period leaved aside God and believe that man can take care about itself, worshipping instead human reason later own greatest hymn writers raised up and gave devotion God which today are still, sing in many churches of England even America. The reformation area begun in the 1600 with Charles II ahead of the court which was evil ruler. Puritans believes disappeared and they were mostly influence by France. Great dramatist surge during these time. The eighteen century help the England empire to expand. These century was divided in three: Age of Reason, were they believe in an impersonal God, called these deism; Age of Johnson, was ruled by Samuel Johnson; Age of Pope, Alexander the great was the leader of that time who wrote the only poetry note and satire was the favorite forms. These was use to ridiculized or give a cynical perspective to differents aspects of life. Also it was developed the greatest contribution of the age that were the journalism and the novel. At the end of the century it was characterized because there was a change in the way of seeing life. It was seen from a positive view, love for nature and personal expression. These was the start to pre-Romantic. Big writers also

characterize these century by which trough their art work change the way of seeing different points of view. Some of these famous author were Daniel Defoe, a great journalist; Jonathan Swift, the most prominent satirist writer; and Jane Austin a great and popular novelist. Daniel Defoe was a British writer who had impressed on Literature through his work as a poet. Through his life he produced more than 500 pieces of literature. His work reflected the different experiences in his life, which contributed to literature with great significance and made him to have his own style. ( gradesaver). His greatest contribution to literature was his first and most famous novel Robison Crusoe that was based upon a man that was leafed in a desolated island by himself and whom did many things to survive although the circumstances he was find out (helium). These story symbolizes the daily life of many people and in the constant relationship, confidence, comfort we need to have with God. How individual is an constant fight with society. How each of us tries to builts its own society with our own rules. Also how the realationship with family members is important. These story can may symbolize away of encouraging the reader that although the bad circumstances they might be passing through to dont give up and keep going on. Learn to leave with what you got and try to get the best of it. Everything has a solution except death.
