HISTORY
AAIB was registered and licensed in Amma,n Jordan in 2005 when William Wakeham realised that the absence of high quality industrial, commercial and infrastructure insurance cover was hampering the redevelopment of Iraq. This experience of managing commercial risk in such a highly volatile situations, drove AAIB to move into similar markets such as Afghanistan and Somalia, a logical next step. With the advent of the Arab Spring, AAIB's unique experiences in the region and market leading product line, means that it has continued to concentrate on post conflict emerging markets which now include countries such as Libya.
