This year seems to be flying by; I cant believe its already May. Again we have a busy month with four porch nights, A School Of Instruction, Stated Meeting, three degree practices, Family Night Firefighters Appreciation, and a Lodge Breakfast with Masonic Education (only if you rsvp to R.H. Tony). Also, our Grand Lodge in Orlando. I am looking forward to attending Grand Lodge again. I had a great time last year and learned a lot. I would like to take this opportunity to applaud our JW Kevin Carpenter & Carrie plus kitchen crew for their hard work in the kitchen so far this year. Anyone who has ever held that chair KNOWS how hard it can be to attempt to please everybody. Also all Past Masters of Hyde Park please make note that next month on the 15 th is Mike Stoinoffs 2nd Annual Past Masters Spaghetti Fundraiser. PLEASE get with Mike this month (May) to see what help he needs to make this a success.

I would like to thank all the Brothers and their family members that help with the Lodge BBQ. It was a big success and the food was great. I would like to have all the Brothers that have not been back in a while back for some good fellowship and some good food by me. I would like to take this time to bring up the monthly breakfast every second Saturday from 7AM to 9AM. On the 27th we will have a second breakfast for Masonic leadership training lessons 11-15. Breakfast will be from 7AM to 8AM and class starting at 8AM to 1PM with refreshments during class. Thank you my Brothers for putting me in this office. I have really enjoyed cooking for you guys. We did well on the BBQ Fundraiser but we are still a lot short for a new roof. Everything in life is going up in price. We are going to be facing some changes that may affect our dues cost to compensate for just day to day expenses. I am not saying the dues will definitely go up this year but they might. We now only have 169 active members in our Lodge. If everyone pays their dues that still does not cover expenses. To date we have had only 1 man petition our Lodge for the three Degrees this year. Brothers we need your support, ideas, and most of all your understanding. Come get involved join us for a Stated Meeting or a family night, come eat Breakfast with us on the 2 nd Saturday Morning (after stay and learn something) fellowship with some Brothers you havent seen in a while meet some Brothers, you havent met yet. Bring a friend to the Lodge introduce him to our fraternity maybe that will spark an interest and he will ask how to join. Lastly check your Dues card if it dont say 2013 your need to update your dues card. I have received a lot of send back letter from those of you whom have moved and forgot to let us know. If you have moved let us know if you know a Brother that has moved ask him if he has notified the Lodge.

We are having a Breakfast every month. It will be from 7:00 AM to 9:00AM. It will consist of Scrambled Eggs, Bacon, Sausage, Sausage Gravy, Hashbrowns, Pancakes, Biscuits, Fruit, Orange Juice, Coffee and Iced Tea. Donation is $5.00 and its all you can eat!! Along with Breakfast is Great Fellowship and thats FREE!! See the calendar below for the date. Also, starting with our next Breakfast on April 13th,we will start over again on Masonic Education with Master Master Exam 1 and continue every month with the exams until completed. Then, we will start on the Modules. Everyone is invited including and Brothers from other Lodges. It will start after Breakfast about 9:30AM.
