Lab Demonstrator (Introduction to Computer Science 74.101) Department of Computer Science University of Manitoba o Developed the ability to keep ideas focused and better understand and effectively address an audience. o Responsible for guiding 20 25 students through structured labs designed to assist them in learning the Java programming language and addressing any questions or concerns they may have. University Navigation System (Software Engineering II) o The system is being implemented in ASP .NET. It is designed for students to easily navigate around the university by providing directions from one place to another. Parking System (Human-Computer Interaction I) o This is a user friendly system for students to allocate parking space and provide necessary information about parking lots. Pulse Monitoring System (Real-Time System) o This is a real-time system which monitors a patients pulse rate and provides feedback. In September of 2006, I accepted the position of Computer Science Student Association (CSSA) Recruitment Chairperson. I subsequently designed a website for that association: http://www.cs.umanitoba.ca/~cssa/. I enjoy playing tennis and badminton. I am currently learning Ruby on Rails.
