ince 1995, the D. James Kennedy Center for Christian Statesmanship (CCS) in Washington, D.C., under the influence of the Holy Spirit, has been strengthening our nations leaders in their faith for Jesus Christ.

The Library will also provide an expansive collection of books and sermons that give evidence to Dr. Kennedys history including half a century of thorough, investigative study of the Bible. The Bible speaks clearly on the issues of our day, and the Library will contain volumes of information that provide biblical perspectives in matters on key cultural issues of the day. The Library will serve as a source of study and research for thousands of hill staffers who work with Members of Congress daily. It is these staff and legislative assistants, legislative counsels and chiefs-of-staffs who play key roles in work on Capitol Hill. These hill staffers may be behind the scenes, but they are the ones who write many of the bills that affect real-life citizens. Many of them will be our countrys leaders tomorrow. Through the D. James Kennedy Center for Christian Statesmanship, hill staffers are discipled and encouraged to share their faith as they serve their country and their Lord. The Library will serve as a voice for them to bring Christ to bear on the world, which was Dr. Kennedys passion. It will also touch the hearts of so many who loved and admired him. Your partnership in the new Center is of major significance. The Center brings prayer, fellowship and support to government servants everyday. Our ministry in Washington, D.C. is so vitally important as America stands at a crossroads, and Whom our leaders follow will define how they lead. To build upon this foundation already laid, and with generous support from a friend of CCS, a building center was purchased to expand CCS influence and continue to impact our nations leaders with the Gospel. In a strategic location, only minutes from the Capitol building, the Center will host well-attended, important ministry events including: Politics and Principle Luncheons: Christian Members of Congress share testimonies with other Members, hill staffers and interns Bible Studies: Members of Congress, hill staffers and interns gather for study in the Bible Intern Events: Hundreds of interns gather to connect in a Christian environment Lecture Series: Key speakers share testimonies with the Capitol Hill community Outreach Events: Introduce unbelievers to the Christian faith Donor Events: Introduce friends of the ministry to Washington, D.C., CCS, and life in our nations capital

D. James Kennedy, Founder of Evangelism Explosion and the Center for Christian Statesmanship, had a profound love for America and its Christian heritage. His memory will be honored and preserved at the Center in a library dedicated in his name. Original furniture from Dr. Kennedys office will be displayed, including the ministerial robe that he wore while sharing Gods Word.

EE Revival in Burundi, Africa
Burundi is a small, poverty-stricken African country sandwiched between Tanzania on the east and Congo DRC on the west. Government corruption, civil unrest and political instability are a way of life. Yet grace is on the ground and running through 506 EE-trained Implementation Field Workers (IFWs) in Burundi, Africa. The EE Harvest Campaign put those IFWs into action, gathering with their churches and sharing the Gospel message in surrounding communities. The results were beyond expectation: 50,036 people heard the Gospel 19,731 made professions of faith in Christ 18 Muslims and 35 witch doctors were among those professing faith God continues to use the EE ministry and your faithful support to accomplish amazing results for His kingdom. Chief Roco
Glasses for Missions (GFM) traveled to the village of Yuvasania in the Pacific Islands to distribute prescribed reading glasses and share the Gospel with villagers. Glasses were given to each member of the village who With reading glasses from Glasses for Missions, villagers receive physical sight attended the clinic and also spiritual sight with the Gospel. including the village chief, Rocoloco. Chief Rocoloco is not yet a believer, but the GFM team shared the Gospel with him and all of those who received glasses. Many prayed and accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and Lord. Please pray for Chief Rocoloco of Yuvasania. He can now see clearly the written Word of God with his physical eyes, but needs to see clearly the Word of God, Jesus Christ, with his spiritual eyes. EE merits Milestone Award

The National Religious Broadcasters (NRB) awarded Evangelism Explosion International with its prestigious Milestone Award at the 2013 NRB Convention and Exposition in Nashville, TN in March. The Milestone Award recognizes faithful ministries that have impacted lives for five decades or more. In 1962, God inspired D. James Kennedy with a vision to change the world through EE and the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Following our historic 50th Anniversary, we remain humble how God continues to work in and through EE to spread the Gospel around the world. As we look forward to the next 50 years of ministry, exciting innovations including more ministry partnerships are ahead, and we enthusiastically anticipate the day when every person hears the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
