Dear Friends and Family, I trust this letter finds you and your family well.

As some of you may know I have had a long love for baseball as well as playing at the Collegiate level. With that being said, I now have some exciting news to share! I have been asked to become the Western Regional Director for Global Youth Baseball Federation Inc., more commonly known as Global Baseball. I have seen God working to combine my passions with the worlds needs by using the international language of baseball to spread the Gospel of Christ. I am so glad God has provided me a way to use this desire of mine as a way to build His Kingdom! Global Youth Baseball Federation (GYBF) is an international evangelistic baseball organization whose purpose is to evangelize the lost on a global scale. Our platform is unique in that through the game of baseball we can build relationships that will facilitate the opportunity to share Christ. Baseball has become an international language and we have received invitations to countries where others would not be able to go. The goal of GYBF is to take excellent teams, both in baseball skills and in spiritual maturity, to hard-to-reach cultures. As you may or may not know Jesus Christ was often persecuted for going against the grain and witnessing to people in ways that were not viewed as normal(Cite a scripture), which eventually led to his death as a sacrifice for us on the cross. Similar to Christ, Global Baseball does things differently to reach the lost, such as using a game to build relationships. Due to these relationships that we build, people tend to be more receptive to hearing about Christ. We currently go to Israel, the Dominican Republic, Cuba, Ecuador and are continuing to develop projects and partnerships in other nations and pursue opportunities where God opens doors. Along with raising funds for this ministry, my other responsibilities will be to lead mission teams out into the focus nations. A typical mission trip will consist of conducting baseball and softball clinics, sharing a gospel message, street and home evangelism, investing in relationships of the local people, leading bible studies, mercy ministries and taking part in humanitarian aid projects. Last October I was a member of a Global Baseball missions team to Israel. I accompanied Jeff Siegel, President of Global Baseball, and Hebron Baptist Church out of Georgia. Towards the end of my time there, our team put together food items and delivered them to people in a low income city called Sderot . Due to its proximity to the Gaza strip, people in Sderot usually dont get much help from outsiders, as the city is constantly under attack. In fact the day we arrived in Israel the city was bombarded by over 40 RGBs. One of my encounters was with a Holocaust survivor who had recently lost her husband of 60 years. As we sat down to speak with her we had the opportunity to tell her how

much Christ loves her. We have since found out that she has given her life to Christ. We then went back the next day and hosted a dinner for Holocaust survivors and briefly shared our testimonies with them. What we got in return was un-expected, with tears in their eyes they shared how thankful they were that Americans actually came to their city. Everyone who obeys Gods calling to be commissioned through Global Baseball raises their own support. I am currently building up a support network, first and foremost a network of people willing to pray for me and second financial support. Through your financial support I will be able to go on more missions as well as enable Global Baseball to continue to build their ministry. I have been and will be so indebted to all who have prayed for me. I also want to emphasize that no amount is too small. Thank you for considering being a supporter of this ministry. Global Baseball is governed by a Board of Directors which includes business men and women, and former pro baseball players. All gifts to Global Baseball, a 501(c)(3) organization, are fully tax deductible. You can make a onetime donation or you can sign up to make monthly donations.
