Hardware and Software Requirements

Before beginning the installation, verify that the computers that you will use meet the following requirements. These requirements assume that the SmartPlant software is not installed on the database server. You can install the SmartPlant software on the database server if you want to, but we do not recommend it. SmartPlant Engineering Manager may be installed on its own workstation or it can run on the same computer with other engineering applications, such as SmartPlant P&ID or SmartPlant Electrical.
