Some o! the matras used in the recitation o! 4edas are not used in written Sanskrit and in regular text$ooks. Such matras need to $e created using special character codes similar to the Dreek and 1atin sym$ols. %s a simple example# the $eginning o! the =th stan@a o! Rudram was taken !or demonstration.

/onts such as Times Eew Roman# %rial# or any o! the standard !onts do not render the Sanskrit portions o! the document with such high reada$ility like the Sanskrit 0556 !ont. The Sanskrit document created !or demonstration purpose was opened in a pu$lic university li$rary with guest privileges to see whether the em$edded !onts showed upF the Sanskrit !onts showed and the document was reada$le with the a$ility to print. The same document was not tested with -pen -!!ice (www.openo!!ice.org . )lease !eel !ree to provide any suggestions or list any errors !ound in this document.
