1 Summary
This document is to describe the concept of the site performance acceptance for the integrated site to check the functionality and site ability. The objective of this report is to evaluate the performance of the Flexi eNodeB in the LTE environment with a set of defined Test Cases to be evaluated and achieved. Prior to the commencement of field testing, there will be an initial period during which all setups shall be validated. This includes a validation of proper functioning of the field test elements such as the UEs, Drive Testing Tool and applications. In addition, the network will be analyzed via measurements to ensure that any radio conditions that Have been specified as essential for testing are actually being realized.

Following are the system and software versions used while performing the tests: SW used: RL15, Altair UE 7210, 20 MHz bandwidth UE tracer XCAL/XCAP ,Agilent Filezilla FTP client. Performance will be evaluated as follows: Drive Testing Data Throughput Testing Handover Latency

2 Acceptance Methodology
The Acceptance will be done using the following inputs: 1. Analysis of site performance drive test results as carried out by NSN. 2. Data Throughput Analysis testing FTP from test laptops using XCAL/Agilent. Site Performance Drive Test results will be used as Final Site Acceptance Criteria. The Site Performance Drive Test will be performed taking into consideration this site does not have any alarms.

Proposed Solution
Proposed Solution Frequency Band Carrier Bandwidth Frame configuration Special sub frame configuration Maximum Tx power DL (Pout @ eNodeB) Downlink Modulation Scheme OFDMA Uplink Modulation Scheme SC-FDMA DL MIMO Configuration 2 x 2 MIMO Test UE Mobility

40 (2.3 GHZ ) 20 MHz 2 7 20 Watts (10 Watts per antenna ) (QPSK, 16QAM, 64QAM) (QPSK, 16QAM) 2 x 2 MIMO (transmission mode 3) => OL MIMO 2 x 2 MIMO (transmission mode 2) =>TxDiv Stationary, Mobile (~3050 km/h)

3 Drive Testing
Drive Testing (DT) will be used for the following purposes: 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. To check the RF coverage and quality. To ensure functionality testing (intra-eNBHandovers, call drops, etc) To confirm Call processing To measure Throughput in DL & UL directions from Application server. To measure latency. To check the RF Configuration of the Site

4 Testing Details
1. Data Throughput Data Throughput tests will be executed at Static points under the site. Coverage Throughput (doing the tests while driving around the sites moving from the Best Radio Conditions till the Cell Edge )

The following call pattern and cycle will be used: Attach Log into the Application Server FTP,TCP and UDP Download FTP,TCP and UDP Uplink Connection release (network detach)

For the Testing duration, For Static Points 1 min continuously is accepted .For Coverage throughput it is recommended to upload multiple big size files (5-10 GB) before testing In addition to the aforementioned testing, it is recommended to do 2 multiple sessions

2. Latency

Latency Tests done for Control Plane (the time required when call setup request start to get the attach complete ) User Plane (it is the round-trip time when pinging the application server to be tested with different word size (32,1000 and 1500 Bytes )

3. Handover Intra cell Handover To test the handover when in connected mode while on idle status Clock wise and Counter Clockwise (RRC configuration Complete message obtained From the drive test tool) Intra cell Handover Since the sites are not integrated which might violate the full Cluster configuration this will be tested later as cluster tuning Phase 4. Coverage Idle mode to check the radio conditions around the site while on idle status to check the SINR and RSRP Values Coverage throughput to check the UL/DL throughput around the site, this test to download or upload a large size files to obtain the Field coverage Plot 5. ISP connection Test This part of testing is to check the ability of different internet application i.e. speed net, FTP, streaming and VOIP Skype . 6. Site RF Configuration Check Drive Test Team required checking Antenna Orientation for all cells Down tilt of the site Carrier Bandwidth check
