Personal Statement A conscientious, energetic and experienced worker who is passionate about working in a journalistic environment. I am a strong team leader with an eye for brand awareness, who can think outside the box, and take initiative without needing direction. As a final year Journalism student and due to complete my studies in May, I am now looking for an opportunity to work for a creative company who can take my career to the next level.

Career History October 2007 Present | Topshop Responsible for driving sales, offering a high level of service at all times, and being a role model to other staff members. I deliver beyond what is expected of me by running the shop floor, interview and employ new staff members, and taking decisive action to improve the branch performance by reading daily stock figures. Worked within all areas of the store such as merchandising, service team, and stock control and scheduling. June August 2011 | Kenwood and Kenmont Camp, USA I worked within a large team of people, looking after the children and taking care of their wellbeing and safety. My role as a Specialist Counsellor meant I also had to manage my activity and think of daily plans for the rehearsals and dress fittings.

Work Experience October 2012 | Topshop Marketing Team leader to launch awareness of the new Topshop/Topman Trinity Leeds. Involved managing marketing competitions, promotions and campaigns and educating staff members. September 2012 | MCG PR Writing press releases for clients such as Vimto, Damart and Weight Watchers, using Microsoft Office Programs. Assisting the team when preparing for meetings with clients.
