Congratulations on your Full Speed Ahead product. Please read these instructions and follow

them for correct use. Since specific tools and experience are necessary for proper installation,

it is recommended that the crankset be installed by a qualified bicycle technician. These

Crankset installation

1. Ensure that the Bottom Bracket (BB) shell ⓞ I.D. is clean and free from metal chips, dirt, or excess paint.

2. Apply a thin layer of grease to the BB circlip groove. Using a circlip plier, collapse the Circlip ① and insert it into the circlip groove in as shown in above above arrangement. Ensure the

Circlip is fully seated. Using the FSA bearing installation tool # EE041 and a headset press, press one BB30 Bearing ② at a time into the BB shell as shown in above arrangement.

Press each BB30 Bearing into the BB shell until the BB30 Bearing is firmly against the Circlip.

3. Install the spacer ⑧ and the Drive Side Bearing Shield ③ onto the splindle. Carefully insert the right crank arm through the BB30 Bearings.

4. The self Extracting Crank Bolt ⑦ is pre-installed into the Left Crank Arm ④. Install the Left Crank Arm onto spindle. Torque the Crank Bolt 450-550 kgf.cm / 45-55 Nm / 390-485 in.lbs.

Note: The Preload Nut ⑤ must have a Set Screw ⑥ and circlip installed in the assembly.

5. With a M36 spanner wrench, adjust the Preload Nut toward the BB until it contacts the BB30 Bearing. With a 1.5mm allen wrench, tighten the Preload Nut Set Screw to secure the

Preload Nut.
