The University
The Central University of Rajasthan has been established by anAct of Parliament, 2009, published in the Gazette of India on 20th March, 2009 as a new Central University. The University is fully funded by the Government of India.
Vision
The Central University of Rajasthan aspires to be one of Indias most dynamic and vibrant universities, responsive to the changing global trends, providing unparalleled educational opportunities for the learner community especially for those coming from the lower socio- economic strata of society seeking quality education. It proposes to offer innovative undergraduate and graduate academic programmes as well as continuing personal and professional enrichment in selected areas that will lead to the formation of a scholarly community by advancing, sharing and applying knowledge and by facilitating the development of thoughtful, creative, sensitive and responsible citizens.

Admission Procedure
Admission to all programmes will be based on common entrance examination, CUCET-2013, which will be conducted at various centers all over India. Online and offline Application for the entrance test and detailed information regarding CUCET-2013 will be available on the website www.cucet2013.co.in The weightage to CUCET-2013 score and the performance at the qualifying exam will be in the ratio of 70:30, except for MBA, wherein weightage will be in ratio of 70:20:10 (CUCET 2013 Score: Group Discussion: Personal Interview). For the purpose of computing percentage of weightage of performance at qualifying exam, performance in aggregate at final year (degree) exam will be taken. If the final year result is not declared, aggregate of performance at first and second year may be considered. The list of successful candidates and schedule of counseling will be announced through the website. If a candidate is provisionally admitted during the counseling, he/she will have to deposit the prescribed fee on the same day.
Criteria
Admission shall be made on the basis of marks/grades in the qualifying examination and performance in the Central Universities Common Entrance Test (CUCET). The test shall consist of Multiple Choice Questions in two parts A and B. Part A: Consist of 35 questions focused on analytical skills and general awareness. Part B: Consist of 65 questions related to subject concerned.
CUCET 2013
Ten Central Universities, namely Bihar, Gujarat, Jammu, Jharkhand, Kashmir, Kerala, Orissa, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu are the participating universities for common entrance test for admission to programmes offered by the respective universities. The test enables a candidate, as a single window facility, to seek admission to integrated programmes (after 10 +2), under-graduate, post-graduate & research programmes in the above mentioned ten universities.
Scholarships/Fellowships
Scholarships of Rs. 1000/- per month to First Three Toppers in each programme by Central University of Rajasthan. Single Girl Child Scholarship of Rs. 2000/ - per month by UGC, Government of India. M. Tech. GATE Scholarship. Scholarship for ST/SC/OBC/BPL students by Government of India. Scholarship for minority students by Government of India Post-Graduate Merit Scholarship for University Rank Holders at Undergraduate Level of Rs. 2000/- per month by UGC, Government of India. Post-Graduate Scholarship for selected SC/ST candidates of Rs. 5000/- per month for M. Tech. student and Rs. 3000/- per month for other professional courses by UGC. All Ph.D. scholars not receiving other Fellowship will be getting University scholarship as per UGC norms.
Reservation Policy
The reservation policy of the Government of India and amendments therein time to time is applicable for admissions in all programmes.
Looking to the needs of teacher education in expanding horizons of higher education in the country as well as in the state of Rajasthan, the Central University of Rajasthan offers integrated academic programmes leading to the degree of M.Sc. B.Ed. and M.Sc. programmes with content of education in various subjects.
Integrated Programmes
The students are able to decide career goals after 10+2 and focus their attention in the area of choice. The course structure is designed to prepare students for teaching profession in schools as well as in colleges/universities. The integrated programmes are prepared with the approach that the students from non mathematics background, like Biology, will have mathematics at B.Sc. level, so that they may pursue advanced studies in emerging areas at a later stage. Such integration is not being offered in any institution. In the programmes, educational pedagogy and technology will be integrated right from the beginning. Students may take courses of their choice from other departments as additional credits (Choice based credit system)
Salient Features
*After M.Sc. (completion of 10 Semesters (5 Years) a student may also take admission in Ph.D. Programme as per rules/ordinance of Univ. In 6th Year, a student is allowed to take courses related to research in the relevant discipline (proposed)
Programme Structure
There will be four core subjects in the 1st year and 2nd Year and only one subject as major (like Honors degree ) in III year in which the student will pursue the M.Sc. degree. Out of 48 credits of education, 36 credits are spread over from 2nd year to 5th year. While, during the 6th year, only 12 remaining credits of education are allotted. Therefore, students may take courses related to Research Methodology, if they intend to take admission in Ph.D. Programme after B.Ed. As such, time period to be spent for Ph.D. programme is reduced. In last two semesters of Integrated M.Sc., B.Ed. Programme (XI and XII Semesters), the students shall be placed in Schools/College for internship under the supervision of a mentor.
Exit Options
Exit options are available after B.Sc. and M.Sc. degree, if not continuing further for B.Ed. degree/Masters degree. The candidate will get Certificate in Education along with B.Sc. degree and Diploma in Education with M.Sc. degree if take exit after B.Sc. and M.Sc. respectively.
Audit Courses
In addition to the common, core and education courses, students may also take audit courses and other courses available in various schools of the university for augmenting the skills and knowledge in the area of their interests.
Cultural Fest
Maru-Kriti is the Cultural Fest of Central University of Rajasthan. Maru-Kriti cultural fest is the reflection of Rajasthani art, drama and culture where students present and perform rajasthani dances, songs, fashion show, mimicry, mime, rangoli, mehandi and literary activities. In literary events students take part in debate, extempore, just in time, and Group discussions.

Editor, Annu Yadav is working with the N.G.O Pratham, three students (Sapinder, Sayar and Devendra Gora) are pursuing Ph.D from Central University of Punjab and Priya Kumari is enrolled for M.Phil in Banasthali Vidyapeeth. On the first Convocation of the University, MA English students displayed the achievements of the department through charts. Keeping in view of the post modern society and the global needs and of communication patterns, the syllabus of Hindi is framed by the University. To train the students in the field of corporate sectors functional Hindi has been introduced in each semester as a compulsory paper which includes computers and its development, Journalism Web Journalism, mass media etc. Keeping the view of the unemployment problem the Dept. of Hindi also offers the compulsory paper related to the most popular entertainment media the Indian cinema where the students read and learn about the screen play, script-writing, dialogue writing, techniques of photography with the support of other depts. Special attention is also given to the students by taking U.G.C.(N.E.T/J.R.F) classes as a part of the curriculum. The Hindi Dept. focuses not only the study of Hindi language and literature but also other classical languages of India by offering an optional paper at the P.G. level like studying the poems of Tagore (Bangla), Kumaranashan (Malayalam) Subrahmanya Bharathi (Tamil) etc.
The Department has been provided with computers and projectors in the class rooms, every staff is offered laptop and Hindi fonts are installed to enrich the contemporary needs. The students of the Dept. are asked to present seminars, P.P.T presentations in every week. Hindi Dept. plans to establish a language lab very soon.

The courses are designed to develop multi-disciplinary skills among the students to tackle the complex environmental and economic issues. Apart from the micro, macro, international and monetary economics, there is a special focus on environmental economics, natural resource economics, global and national environmental issues, environmental impact assessment and sustainable development. Besides, econometrics, theories of economic growth, public economics, development economics, economics of human development, environmental sociology is also the part of the course curriculum. The course on Computer Applications in Economics and Statistics enables the students to handle a set of time series and cross section data using the softwares like SPSS, EViews, and STATA. The course curriculum includes lecture notes, tutorials, seminars, self-study and internship/ project report/ dissertations.

Promotion of Community Radio Scheme (CRS), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India. In order to introduce the concept and utility of CRS to the target rural population, the preliminary meetings have been conducted at Patan, Bandersindhri and Mundoti villages on 18th and 19th October, 2012. The Head, Faculty members and Students of Department of Social Work, Central University of Rajasthan actively participated in the meeting and played a pivotal role in communicating the importance of Community Radio programme for the overall development of rural areas. Establishment of Day Care Centre: In order to understand the need of children between 3-6 years of age, when their parents (University employees) are away from home during day. The Department of Social Work has taken a call and opened a Day Care Centre at Central University of Rajasthan for the children of university employees and other beneficiaries. Inception of Community College: In order to follow the mandate of Ministry of Human Resource Development and meet the great demand-supply mismatch in the country as economy needs much more skilled manpower in India. The proposed M. Com. programme has a distinct objective to equip the students with knowledge, skills and attitude to become more suitable for the present and emerging job market. The syllabus has been designed student-centered where there is flexibility for the students to have a greater choice of courses appropriate to their interests, needs, sustainability and long term goals. Salient Features
The intended research programs have a bearing on the drug and prodrug synthesis based on green and sustainable technologies using biocatalytic and biotechnological methods. The department has a well qualified faculty from the fields such as peptide chemistry, computer aided drug design and synthetic organic chemistry. Summer training programmes and visits to the top pharmaceutical research/industrial centres are planned after the second semester examination to expose the students to the latest developments in the field of pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry.
To begin with the School of Chemical sciences and Pharmacy has well equipped laboratories for practical classes and also a number of the latest sophisticated instruments such as UV-Visible spectrophotometer, I. R., polarimeter, Table top NMR, GC, Atomic absorption spectrophotometer, Fluorescence Spectrophotometer etc. The process has been started to acquire GC-MS, 500 MHz NMR, HPLC, semi-preparative HPLC and other advanced analytical instruments. The department will also have a well equipped modern animal house and other necessary facilities needed for the drug discovery research.

The M. Sc. Tech. mathematics is a post-graduate course of three years duration. It is equivalent to M. Sc. (Maths) and M. Sc.(Computer Science), for the appointment of teachers posts in colleges and universities, as its syllabus comprises of core subjects both from M. Sc. Maths and M. Sc. Computer Science. The proposed syllabus is designed in such a manner that if a student having B. Sc with Mathematics wants to opt out after four Semesters, he will be awarded M. Sc. Mathematics degree, and if completes six semesters, he is awarded M. Sc. Tech. Mathematics degree. The objectives of the courses are: To prepare trained manpower needed for R & D of ICT and related industries & research organizations. To prepare higher mathematics teachers for applied mathematics especially for I.T. and Engineering. To sensitize and train young students as future researchers in the frontier areas of applied mathematics. The approach is both multi disciplinary and inter disciplinary. The programme is very flexible giving scope for audit courses and also open electives where in the student can take courses from other departments and complete the requisite number of credits. Also there is scope for a student to opt out of the programme after completing 4 semesters with M. Sc. Mathematics Degree or complete six semester whereby getting M. Sc. Tech. Mathematics degree. The course is highly relevant for Architects who want to pursue a professional career in Architectural and Planning practice, or in construction industry, or in the field of rural and urban development or academics and multidisciplinary research or at policy making levels in government and other organizations. This is a two year full time programme divided into four consecutive semesters of 18 weeks each including 2 weeks for exams. The first three semesters will be blend of theory and project courses and the fourth semester will be equip the participants with managerial knowledge skills for managing sustainable projects as they prepare a Masters design thesis. The scientific discipline of Microbiology is one of the most critical components of basic and applied life science studies. A high quality education in microbiology offers tremendous employability in academia as well as industrial set- up. Department of Microbiology, Central University of Rajasthan came into existence in July 2012 under the School of Life Sciences. The department is operating in close association of other departments within School of Life Sciences viz., Department of Biotechnology and Department of Biochemistry. The objectives of the department are to undertake world-class teaching and research at post-graduate and doctoral level with detailed training of various basic and applied aspects of microbiology. The department also envisions preparing our students for fiercely competitive job markets by arranging interactive sessions with faculty members and visiting experts from academia and industry. The department is currently offering Master level (M.Sc.-Microbiology) and Doctorate level (Ph.D. -Microbiology) courses. The master level course focuses on providing comprehensive training to the students in various disciplines of basic and applied microbiology. The course curriculum is designed to train our students in basic Microbiology as well as in allied biological subjects including Biochemistry, Genetics, Cell Biology, Molecular Biology, Immunology, Recombinant DNA technology, Virology, Enzymology, and Bioinformatics etc. The curriculum also provides essential training on supportive courses of Bio-safety, Intellectual Property Rights, Biostatistics, Physics, and Mathematics etc. The Ph.D. program envisions providing detailed research specialization in applied areas of Microbiology e.g. Microbial Genomics, Microbial Metabolism & Physiology, Agriculture- Microbiology, Environmental Microbiology and Industrial Microbiology etc. The course curriculum for doctoral studies is designed to meet the guidelines of the University Grant Commission e.g. candidates are selected the basis of thorough selection procedure which consists of entrance exam and two rounds of personal interviews. The University Department of Physics, Central University of Rajasthan established in the year 2011, offers postgraduate program leading to Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree awarded by the Central University of Rajasthan. The M.Sc. Physics course is a rigorous study program at post graduate level covering both depth and breadth of all relevant areas, and providing substantial research training. It is designed to impart a thorough knowledge of the fundamental principles of the several branches of physics, as mathematically and experimentally demonstrated; and also to execute with their own hands various experiments to have handson experience with the tools and methods of physics, not simply with the concepts. In addition Ph.D. degree programmes has been started by the Department. Experienced faculty of the Department is devoted to research in their respective areas of specialization. Research and teaching are given equal importance by the faculty. Extra care is taken to pay individual attention to the students in their laboratory work and tutorial sessions. Project work and problem sessions are encouraged to develop innovative and analytical approach to physics learning. The program aims to train future generations of physicists with specialization in one of the frontier areas of research, that is, either in Material Science or Condensed Matter Physics. The regular laboratory meetings give students hands-on experience with the physical concepts being discussed in lecture, and introduce the principal methods of scientific investigation. The department has two well-maintained laboratories including an electronics lab in which the students can carry out their project work, play around with the concepts of electronics/physics and exhibit their creative skills which have been upgraded recently with new equipments. There is a parallel computing HPC Laboratory to aid the learning process and meet the practical needs of the students. M.Sc courses covered basic fundamental physics such as Classical mechanics, Quantum Mechanics etc and advance courses on Condensed Mater Physics, Experimental Physics etc. There are few elective courses such as computational Physics and Materials Science.

TheCareer Counseling Cellof the University not only provides placement assistance to the students in relevant organization but it also helps the students of the University in their career planning, preparation for selection tests, summer placement, internship and final placements. Keeping in view the demand and preference of the various industries, the Cell is also looking for the development of the students. In this direction various activities like Aptitude test, Group Discussion, Guest Lectures from corporate personalities are organized from time to time by the placement cell for the students of the University. Career Counseling Cell of the University organized a two day workshop on Resume writing in the Campus.
Mega Placement Fair was organized by the University. Visits were made to various companies in Jaipur, Jodhpur, Udaipur, New Delhi, Noida , Gurgaon and Bangalore to invite them for recruitment of students in the placement fair. Students from various colleges and Universities all over the Rajasthan / Outside Rajasthan were invited for participation in the placement fair. Around 58 students of CURAJ were shortlisted/ selected by different companies during the placement fair. Sports Facility
The university has excellent facilities for sports and games. There are four tennis courts, two basket ball courts, two volley ball courts in the campus. Besides, there are four badminton courts in boys and girls hostel. Recently, a Kabbadi ground is also developed in the university campus. One cricket ground is under construction. Students take part in inter university sports competition as well as youth festivals. Many Indoor games facilities are also available in both girls and boys hostel.
Each student is expected to maintain a very high standard of discipline and show respect to the teachers, be very co-operative with the fellow students and become brand ambassadors to the Society. 1. Discipline includes the observance of good conduct and orderly behavior by the students of the University; 2. The following and such other Rules as framed by the University from time to time, shall strictly be observed by the students of the University; Every student of the University shall maintain discipline and consider it his/her duty to behave decently at all places; No student shall visit places or areas declared by the University as Out of Bounds for the students; Every student shall always carry on his/her Identity Card issued by the competent authority; Every student, who has been issued the Identity Card, shall have to produce or surrender the Identity Card, as and when required by the University Any student found guilty of impersonation or of giving a false name shall be liable to disciplinary action; The loss of the Identity Card, whenever it occurs, shall immediately be reported in writing to the competent authority; and If a student is found to be continuously absent from Classes without information for a period of 15 days in one or more Classes, his/her name shall be struck off the rolls. He/she may, however, be readmitted within the next fortnight by the Dean on payment of the prescribed readmission fee etc. He/she will not be readmitted beyond the prescribed period. 3. Indiscipline shall include: Irregularity in attendance, persistent idleness or negligence or indifference towards the work assigned; Causing disturbance to a Class or the Office or the Library, the auditorium and the Play Ground etc.; Disobeying the instructions of teachers or the authorities; Misconduct or misbehavior of any nature at the time of elections to the student bodies or at meetings or during curricular or extra-curricular activities of the University; Misconduct or misbehavior of any nature at the Examination Centre; Misconduct or misbehavior of any nature towards a teacher or any employee of the University or any visitor to the University; Causing damage, spoiling or disfiguring to the property/equipment of the University; Inciting others to do any of the aforesaid acts; Giving publicity to misleading accounts or rumor amongst the students; Mischief, misbehavior and/or nuisance committed by the residents of the hostels; Visiting places or areas declared as out of bounds for the students; Not carrying the Identity cards issued by the Proctor; refusing to produce or surrender the Identity Card as and when required by - Proctorial and other Staff of the University;
Other Initiatives
Any act and form of sexual harassment, ragging or discrimination on the basis of caste, category, religion, race; Engaging in unlawful activities that includes membership of banned organizations, organizing meetings and processions without due permission of the competent authorities; and Any other conduct anywhere which is considered to be unbecoming of a student. 4. Students found guilty of breach of discipline shall be liable to such punishment, as prescribed below: Fine; Campus Ban; Expulsion; and Rustication. However, no such punishment shall be imposed on an erring student unless he / she is given a fair chance to defend himself/herself. This shall not preclude the Vice-Chancellor from suspending an erring student during the pendency of disciplinary proceedings against him /her. 5. All powers relating to discipline and disciplinary action in relation to the student shall vest in the ViceChancellor. However, the Vice-Chancellor may delegate all or any of his powers as he deems proper to the competent authority or to the Discipline Committee as the case may be or any functionary of the University. 6. (i) Without prejudice to Section 11(5) and also Statute 28(1), there shall be a Discipline Committee comprising of the following members: Vice-Chancellors nominee or Pro-Vice-Chancellor Dean Students Welfare Deans of the Schools Warden, who shall be invited, when the matter concerning his/her Hall of Residence is required to be placed before the Committee for consideration Proctor (Member/Secretary) (ii) Subject to any powers conferred by the Act and the Statute on the Vice-Chancellor, the Committee shall take cognizance of all matters relating to discipline and proper standards of behavior of the students of the University and shall have the powers to punish the guilty as it deems appropriate. (iii) The said Committee shall, make such Rules as it deems fit for the performance of its functions and these Rules and any other Orders under them shall be binding on all the students of the University. (iv) The recommendations of the Discipline Committee shall be submitted to the Vice-Chancellor whose decision will be final and binding. However, the Vice- Chancellor, if he is of the opinion that the case merits review, may refer the case back to the Discipline Committee for reconsideration. (v) Appeal against the decision of the Vice-Chancellor will be dealt in accordance with the provisions of Section 34 of the Central Universities Act 2009. (vi) One-third of the total members shall constitute the quorum for a meeting of the said Committee.
In the light of the risks/ hazards associated with working in the academic and research laboratories, the Central University of Rajasthan has developed a comprehensive General and Laboratory Safety Program. This program encompasses of class room teaching, hands on training demonstration and online quiz about the general and laboratory safety procedures. This safety training program is developed in accordance with suggestions from experts of leading academic and industrial institutions (e.g. BARC- Mumbai, & BASF the chemical company- Mumbai). It is envisioned that students undergoing this training will be able to ensure safety of themselves and other during their academic/ research careers. It is anticipated that this training will significantly improve the employability for our students.
Educate CURAJ family about cyber safety issues. Provide guidance regarding the safe and responsible use of Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) at CURAJ. Educate them of their obligations and responsibilities with regards to the safe and responsible use of ICT in accordance with the cyber safety policy. Outline the nature of possible consequences associated with breaches of the CURAJ cyber safety policy which may undermine the safety of the CURAJs environment.
Plagiarism means presenting another person's ideas, work, copying or reproducing the work without due acknowledgment of the source. Work submitted for assessment may also be regarded as plagiarized where significant portions of an assignment have been reproduced from the work of another student. Hence the students are advised to not to resort to plagiarism in their work. The Central University of Rajasthan is opposed to and will not tolerate plagiarism.

Academic Honesty
As per the guidelines of UGC and the Supreme Court to avoid Sexual Harassment at workplace a Cell was established by the Central University of Rajasthan to provide a healthy and congenial atmosphere to the staff and students of the University. The first Meeting of the Apex Body of SPARSH (Sensitization, Prevention and Redressal of Sexual Harassment) was held on 5th November, 2012. The cell was constituted to meet the four basic objectives: To develop the guidelines and norms for a policy against sexual harassment To develop principles and procedures for combating sexual harassment To work out details for the implementation of the policy To prepare a detailed plan of action, both short and long term Any disorderly conduct whether by words spoken or written or by an act which has the effect of teasing, treating or handling with rudeness any other student, indulging in rowdy or undisciplined activities which causes or is likely to cause annoyance, hardship or psychological harm or to raise fear of apprehension thereof in freshers or junior students or asking the students to do any act or perform something which such students will not do in the ordinary course and which has the effect of causing or generating a sense of shame or embarrassment so as to adversely affect the physique or psyche of a fresher or a junior student. The Central University of Rajasthan is opposed to and will not tolerate ragging. All cases of ragging will be strictly dealt with as per provision under ORDINANCE 22 Curbing the Menace of Ragging in Higher Educational Institutions (Act Section 28 (n). Anti-Ragging Cell
Every student admitted to any programme of the university will have a faculty member from the concerned department as his advisor (called student advisor). The student advisor will track and monitor the students regularity in the class room attendance, performance in tests and in completing other assignments in all the courses the student is required to pursue. Based on the assessment of the students progress and conduct he will be suitably advised and guided so as to ensure that the student remains focused on his primary academic objective. Problems due to any extra ordinary situation will be discussed with the Head and resolved at the department level. Every student will keep in touch with his advisor and meet him periodically, as prescribed by the advisor, and strive to improve his / her performance. A student may also seek advice regarding appearance at the professional examination and participation in outside seminars and other co/extra-curricular activities in a way that does not affect his primary objective.
Student Advisor
It is the policy of the University that all processes, including evaluation at various stages will be fully transparent. The answer scripts of all tests and EoSE are shown to the students on the stipulated date announced by the concerned departments and shortcomings in the answers are pointed out and guidance is given for improving future performance. A student on his/her own can seek guidance for improvement in performance from the teacher in-charge of the particular course.
Aims: The overall aim of National Service Scheme as envisaged earlier, is to give an extension dimension to the higher education system and orient the student youth to community service while they are studying in educational institution. The educated youth who are expected to take the reins of administration in future are found to be unaware of the problems of the village/slum community and in certain cases are indifferent towards their needs and problems. Therefore it is necessary to arouse the social conscience of the students, and to provide them an opportunity to work with the people in the villages and slums. It is felt that their interaction with the common villagers and slum dwellers will expose them to the realities of life and bring about a change in their social perception. The Motto: The motto or watchword of the National Service Scheme is :NOT ME BUT YOU. This reflects the essence of democratic living and upholds the need for selfless service and appreciation of the other persons point of view and also to show consideration for fellow human beings. It underlines that the welfare of an individual is ultimately dependent on the welfare of society on the whole. Therefore, it should be the aim of the NSS to demonstrate this motto in its day-to-day programme. Incentive (s) to the students: The NSS volunteers may get appropriate weightage if he/she completes 2 years in NSS and gets the certificate signed by the Vice-Chancellor of the university. Universities may give preference to such NSS volunteers in matters of admission, promotion and other privileges as decided by them. NSS volunteers should be honored at university level for their excellent and outstanding work in NSS. The universities may prepare guidelines for such incentives. The states may also institute state level/district level awards for outstanding NSS volunteers. NSS volunteers may be nominated for Indira Gandhi Awards at National Level.
NSS Activities: The central University of Rajasthan initiated NSS as an extra curriculum activity for the students. During the first phase of this program we have done tree plantation at boys hostel located temporarily at BSNL quarters, Kishangarh, Ajmer Campus Cleaning : One day camp was organized for campus cleaning at Bandar Sindari campus of CURAJ under the activity of NSS on 20th September 2011. Around 150 students participated in the camp. The task was assigned to the students to clean the sports ground of boys hostel Badminton and volley ball area. Blood Donation Camp: Central University of Rajasthan organized a blood donation camp under the two days camp of NSS along with the medical help and association of Jawaharlal Lal Nehru Medical college and Hospital Ajmer. The camp was organized on 13th and 14th October 2011 at Kishangarh and Bandar Sindari campus of CURAJ respectively. Around 150 students including teaching and non teaching staff donated the blood and more than 300 were registered an examined by the team of doctors for donation. NSS cell celebrated Youth Weekin the university campus fromJanuary 16th to 18th, 2013.Following activities are planned to be organized under theevent: Essay Competition (Topic:-The continuing introduction of newtechnologies and new media adds little to the quality of education) Poster Competition (Topic:-Youth Involvement in Social Activities) Debate Competition (Topic: Facebook: A social Network, a Revolutionor A time waste and a diversion from Indian culture and Values) Motivational Lecture For Youth, by Dr. Satish Batra (University of Rajasthan) Celebration of Womens Day: NSS cell celebrated Womens day and organized cooking competition on March 8th 2013 on special theme A Cooking without Gas: Nutritious Food.
