1997. AL OKAILI was bom and raised in Saudi Arabia, AL OKA|Lr
entered the U.S. through New York to attend classes at.ST. .--''
PETERSBURG JUNIOR COLLEGE, now known as ST. 'PETERSBURG COLLEGE. AL
OKAILI has to complete one additional course in order tpyeceive ..
his Associate's Degree. He is presently taking that cqjurse at ST..
PETERSBURG COLLEGE. AL OKAILI intends to go to thd.UNIVERSITY OF
SOUTH FLORIDA USF upon graduating from ST. PETERSBURG COLLEGE.
AL OKAILI intends to obtain a degree in Information Systems',,

AL OKAILI has never received any flight training. In

approximately 1998 AL OKAILI saw a commercial on television about
flight training and did send for the Information. ALO.KAILI,
however, did not receive flight training. AL OKAILI, has never been
associated with any schools..ifi Bradenton or Sarasota, FL. AL
OKAILI does not have any'friends in the Bradenton/Sarasota area. ,
Approximately two years ago AL OKAILI met.a friend at ST.
PETERSBURG CQLLEGE who was from Saudi Arabia and did receivie flight
training. His firstriame wasT I and his last name was possibly \ | He has not seenL-_J;s

does not have many friends in the U.S. from Saudi Arabia. In fact,
he makes a point of making friends with Americans so as to improve
his English speaking skills. AL OKAILI is aware that Arab people
tend to stick together in a group but he has always found that
those individuals do not learn the English language. Additionally,
while AL OKAILI is a Muslim he is more open minded than your
average Muslim. AL OKAILI does drink liquor and considers himself
to be very "Americanized." AL OKAILI speaks both Arabic and
English.

When AL OKAILI first came to the U.S. in 1997 he rented

an apartment at 2699 Seville Boulevard, Apartment 307, Clearwater,

returned to Saudi Arabia for a nine month period. AL OKAILI
returned to the U.S.. in July. 2001. AL OKAILI initially staved

When AL OKAILI was in Saudi Arabia prior to returning to

the U.S., in July, 2001 he was employed at the KING FISAL
SPECIALIST HOSPITAL located in Riyadh. AL OKAILI's father is also
employed at this hospital as an Executive Manager. AL OKAILI's :
father is NASSIR AL OKAILI. AL OKAILI recently received /
scholarship money from this hospital for his studies in the U.S. .;

AL OKAILI's mother is named TARFAH AL OKAILI with her //

maiden name being AL FAIZ. AL OKAILI has two brothers and two ..
sisters who are in Saudi Arabia. His brothers are SALHA AL OKAILI..
and MOHAMMED AL OKAILI. AL OKAILI's sisters are AREJ AL OKAILI and
AMAL AL OKAILI. AL OKAILI also has a brother by the name of RIYADH
AL OKAILI who is working and studying to be a doctor in Charleston,
South Carolina. AL OKAILI's father attended school in the United
States in the 1970's. AL OKAILI believes his father obtained a . ,
Masters Degree in Hospital Management and studied at a University
located in Nashville, Tennessee.

AL OKAILI has never been to Afghanistan. He d0es have

one friend by the name ol ~~? who did go to
Afghanistan to fight against the Russians.! Vvent to
Afghanistan to train and was then discovered to be the only child
of his parents. As sur.h. he was sent back to Saudi Arabia. This
occurred in approximately 1993 or 1994.1 |is approximately
twenty-eight years old.

AL OKAILI does not know anyone who is sympathetic to

USAMA BIN LADEN. In fact, AL OKAILI was in Riyadh when USAMA BIN
LADEN bombed that area. AL OKAILI does not know anyone in Saudi
Arabia who is sympathetic to USAMA BIN LADEN. AL OKAILI is
familiar with the BIN LADEN family in that they are quite wealthy
and well known in Saudi Arabia. When in Saudi Arabia during the
past year AL OKAILI did not hear anyone speak of the acts of
terrorism which occurred on September 11, 2001. In fact, AL OKAILI
was not aware of the crashes at the WORLD TRADE CENTER and the

PENTAGON until he arose from sleeping at 1 :00 p.m. and was told by
a neighbor.

AL OKAILI explained that in the Muslim faith the acts of

terrorism would mean sure damnation. The Muslim faith is very
strict that one may not murder, nor may one take their own life.
While AL OKAILI may not strictly adhere to all of the Muslim
customs, he does believe that it is wrong to commit murder and
suicide.

AL OKAILI presented to the interviewing agent his Visa

which had a Passport Number of I I This. Visa was issued on
July 11, 2001 and expires July 10, 2003. It is an "R" type Visa, -----------
