LA PROBLEMTICA DE LOS TRANSGNICOS COMO MARAVILLA O ABERRACIN DE LA NATURALEZA

RESUMEN
Desde el principio de su existencia, el hombre ha aprovechado la variacin natural para seleccionar, por tcnicas de cruce y seleccin, especies de plantas y de animales. Desde hace algunos aos que empezaron a experimentar utilizando microorganismos y enzimas para elaborar numerosos productos, que tienen como funcin suplir las limitaciones que presentan los productos que no estn qumicamente alterados; es decir, productos naturales. Los cientficos utilizan varios mtodos: por ejemplo en el mundo vegetal se estudia la incorporacin de genes de una especie de planta a otra para que de este modo obtengan mayor resistencia a plagas y patgenos. En la actualidad existen varias diferencias entre las opiniones esto se debe principalmente a las distintos resultados obtenidos en la investigaciones, ya que algunos resultados afirman que al ser qumicamente alterados tienen ms nutrientes que los alimentos comunes, que benefician nuestra salud; pero tambin estn los resultados negativos que dicen que a largo plazo pueden originar cncer en el organismo de los seres vivos. Este trabajo tiene como objetivo establecer un punto de vista ms certero que permita a las personas informarse de una manera ms verdica sobre los beneficios de los transgnicos.

ABSTRACT
Since the beginning of his existence, man has used natural variation to select, by crossing and selection techniques, species of plants and animals. In recent years began to experiment using microorganisms and enzymes to produce numerous products whose function for the limitations posed by the products that are not chemically altered, ie natural products. Scientists use several methods: for example in the plant world are studying the incorporation of genes from one plant species to another to thereby obtain greater resistance to pests and pathogens. Currently there are several differences between the views this is mainly due to the different results obtained in the research, as some claim that the results be chemically altered nutrients are more common foods that benefit our health, but also results negative long-term say can cause cancer in the bodies of living beings.
