Stream of Entry -- B.Sc. Nautical degree (Approved by DGS) B.Sc. Polyvalent course (Approved by DGS) M.S. Notice 18 of 2008 3 Year B.Sc. * Note: Ratings who have joined the sea service with out pre-sea training course for GP ratings, has to complete the NWKO (NCV) course and examination prior second mate (FG) examination. 1 Note: Term Trading vessels in this table includes foreign going trading ships and coastal trading ships of 500 GT and above when engaged on voyages 500 miles or more only.
