Using the new query panel, you can drag and drop objects to create a query which can be used to build your reports. You can build reports which combine data from multiple sources while leveraging the benefits of the semantic layer.

A wizard is provided which will walk you through the process of connecting your existing report to the new
semantic layer as a data source. You can connect SAP Crystal Reports directly to an SAP BEx query using the SAP BICS. You can also access SAP BW InfoCubes from SAP Crystal Reports by connecting to a Universe which is created for the InfoCube.
