Philips MASTER LEDbulb D 8-40W E27/B22 2700K 230V A60
Philips MASTER LEDbulb 8-40 W integrates leading high power LED light source and compact high efficiency driver into a traditional incandescent A-shape form-factor. Not only does it employ hitech IC solution to ensure the dimming system control, it also delivers high quality light, all-around the lamp, to ensure direct replacement of GLS bulbs in every application (meeting the US Energy Star Regulation). Unlike the traditional incandescent lamps, the MASTER LEDbulb offers 80% energy saving and a longer lifetime of 25,000 hours (equivalent to 15 years if lit 4 hrs a day). This is especially ideal for 24/7 applications to ensure minimum maintenance cost and maximum energy saving. www.philips.com/masterledlamps www.philips.com/led-product-info

Design highlights
Unique remote phosphor technology to deliver soft white light and a compact A-shape Form factor is designed as a direct retrofit into A60 fixtures Dimmable Lumen output: 470 lm Long lifetime of 25,000 hours Warm light all around; beam angle >225 D CCT: 2700 K Consumes only 8 W and replaces traditional 40 W GLS bulbs at 80% energy savings. Ideal for general lighting applications No UV and no heat in the beam Environmental friendly, no mercury or any other hazardous substances RoHS compliant

Application areas

Philips MASTER LEDbulb D 8-40 W lamp has a lifetime of 25,000 hours, defined as the number of hours before 50% of the lamps will fall below 70% of their initial lumens. Lifetime estimation is based on the application environment condition: at room temperature (25 C), free air burning, base down burning position in 10 mm free air to simulate an in-luminaire condition and at rated voltage.

Dimmer range & load capability

General information Philips LEDlamps are tested on more than 30 reference dimmers available globally MASTER LEDbulb can work well with most of R, RL dimmers (leading edge dimmers), but not RC, RCL dimmers (trailing edge dimmers) nor any dimmers with neon/LED light indicator Wide dimming range: from 100% down to 10% How to define the number of lamps which can be connected to one dimmer We suggest the following generic rule
The rule Example Dimmer = 500 W LEDlamp = 8 W Step 1 Divide the maximum Wattage of the dimmer by 10 Step 2 Divide the result of step 1 by the Wattage of the LEDlamps 500 W = 50 W 10 50 8 = 6 pieces, which is the max. number of LEDlamps you can connect to one dimmer
