Any time a government cuts the public out of a discussion, it automatically creates public interest questions.” The meeting was proposed by Supervisor Elizabeth Cowden, who signed multiple leases with Range Resources just last month while testifying at a recent hearing that she has not signed a lease. According to campaign finance records, Elizabeth Cowden is financially supporting Frank Egizio’s campaign for Cecil Township Supervisor. Although Cindy Fisher supports responsible development of Marcellus Shale, she believes there should be no potential conflicts of interest. You deserve to know what’s happening, not the result of a closed-door, potentially illegal meeting. Cindy Fisher believes in open and honest government.
