Pipe Organ Scholarship

This was established to encourage an interest in playing the pipe organ. At the beginning of this year 3 new 2-year scholarships were awarded by St Josephs. The students are: Lyn Hyland, Jeanette Hajncl & Sonja Gellert. The scholarships are awarded with the proviso that students commit to playing for liturgies once a certain standard has been reached. We thank Jeremy Lee, one of our first scholarship students who is now fulfilling his commitment. Brendon Lukin, the tutor for St Josephs Scholarship, will be playing at this Saturday evenings Vigil Mass. Ecology & Sustainability: Care for our environment is a form of prayer - it reflects our attitude to Gods creation. Our Parish is looking at identifying areas where we fall down on environmental issues and how we can become more environmentally conscious. We are looking for people with interest and expertise to join a small group that will help us with the above.
