The 5.11 line now offers hundreds of styles and products, from uniforms and boots to packs, knives, flashlights and more. We are the only tactical brand to offer a complete head to toe accoutrement of the highest quality products. From those first 5.11 Tactical influencers in Quantico, VA the brand has grown worldwide, as evidenced on our Facebook page which shows pictures from 5.11 brand ambassadors around the globe. Our brand name 5.11 originates from Yosemite Valley USA. The brand is named after the climbing grade 5.11, which equals a very difficult level of climbing. Our 5.11 Tactical Pant was originally designed as a climbing pant and turned out to be the number one tactical pant for years in a row. It paved the way for us to create its successors: the Taclite pant, TDU pant, Taclite Jean Cut, Covert pant, the Stryke pant and the new Traverse pants.
