AIMS: - to be capable to identify a Passive Voice form - to be capable to put verbs into the Passive Voice - to be able to transform sentences from the Active Voice into the Passive Voice - to be capable to notice the changes that occur during the transformation from the Passive Voice into the Active Voice for the Present Tense Simple, Past Tense Simple and Future Tense Simple.

Activity 1. T. tells two students to go in front of the class and make o sentence with a transitive verb. Another one should put that sentence into a Passive form. T. asks the pupils to write on the blackboard the new formed sentences. The other Ss are asked to correct their colleagues, if necessary. Activity 2. T. gives the students, who are split into groups, to arrange the mixed words, to make a sentence and to put it inot the Passive. Activity 3. T. shows them a Power Point presentation with three images and they have to explain what they see, using Passive Voice. Activity 4. T. gives the Ss a worksheet with exercises that help the pupils understand how to transform the Active Voice into the Passive Voice. T. asks the pupils about the theme that they have debated. T. asks the pupils to make 5 sentences and to transform them into Passive Voice.

Ss do as required and correct their colleagues if they make a mistake.

Ruth Rendell was married, had a son and 2 grandsons and lived in London. Her fame will be known by many Americans thanks to the big publishers.
