POWER UP START UP

Sound Room Prior to service


a a. Power on Effects/Compressor/Sound Board power switch. a a. Take cover off of sound board
a b. Power on TOA Lobby Amp. a b. Set Monitor levels prior to service, during warm up.
Sound Room Closet a i. Get a sound check from each instrument/mic.
a c. Ensure the rack is powered on (switch at top of rack). a c. Set FOH levels.
a d. Ensure the NEXIA EQ is powered on (green LED). a d. Set Lobby/Recording levels.
a e. Power on AMPs in rack. a i. Set "Record Out" fader on console to 0.
a i. The QSCAudio RMX 4050HD a ii. Adjust the Lobby level at the TOA amplifier.
a ii. The Crown CE2000 a iii. Ensure signal does not clip during worship,
a iii. The QSC GX3 adjust the input level on TOA amp down during

Sound Room Closet a i. Press the "Doug" mute scene.
a a. Power off AMPs in rack. a j. Raise the lights to the "All" setting.
a i. The QSCAudio RMX 4050HD a k. Maintain FOH levels, adjusting as necessary.
a ii. The Crown CE2000 a l. Maintain Lobby levels, adjusting as necessary.
a iii. The QSC GX3 After service
Stage a m. Press the "All" mute scene.
a b. Power off self power QSC speaker or QSC subs (if used). a n. Raise the lights to the "All" setting.
a c. Power off AMPs in on-stage rack (if used). a o. Provide post-service worship music.
a d. Power off EQs in on-stage rack (if used). a i. Insert an audio CD into the DVD player or plug
Sound Room an iPod into the 1/8" jack and control the level
a e. Power off TOA Lobby Amp. via the "DVD" or "iPod" faders on the console.
a f. Power off Effects/Compressor/Sound Board power switch. a p. Maintain FOH and Lobby levels.

Recording
POWER UP START UP

Sound Room Prior to service


a a. Power on A/V rack. a a. Insert master teaching CD in TASCAM CD-RW900.
a b. Ensure all A/V components are on, including: a b. Insert master teaching tape in TASCAM 302.
a i. ULTRALINK PRO MX 882 splitter/AMP a c. Insert master worship CD in TASCAM CC-222.
a ii. TASCAM 302 Tape recorder a d. Press record button on each TASCAM, to prepare
a iii. TASCAM CC-222 Tape/CD recorder a media for recording.
a iv. TASCAM CD-RW900 CD recorder a e. Check volume level of worship during warm-up
a v. RCA DVD recorder by plugging headphones in to the TASCAM CC-222.
a vi. Insignia TV monitor. a f. Check volume level using the display, keep signal

a g. If necessary, adjust the input knob on the recorder.
POWER DOWN a h. Zoom out on Sony camera to see entire stage.
Start of worship
Sound Room a i. Press play button on TASCAM CC-222 to begin

a b. Ensure all A/V components are off, including: a j. Press pause button twice between songs to begin
a i. ULTRALINK PRO MX 882 splitter/AMP a new track on the CD.
a ii. TASCAM 302 Tape recorder a k. Press record button twice on the DVD recorder to
a iii. TASCAM CC-222 Tape/CD recorder recording video.
a iv. TASCAM CD-RW900 CD recorder Start of message
a v. RCA DVD recorder a l. Press play button on TASCAM 302 and CD-RW900
a vi. Insignia TV monitor. to begin recording.
vii. Sony Video Camera a m. Zoom in on Sony camera to see only speaker.
a n. Check volume level of worship during warm-up
a o. by plugging headphones in to the TASCAM CC-222.
a p. Check volume level using the display, keep signal
a q. in the middle of the range.
After service
a r. Press stop on each recorder.
a s. Press finalize on the CD-RW900 and CC-222, then
press the "Multi Dial" button to select "OK".
a t. After discs are finalized, place the media its case
take it to the Tape Ministry.

Sound Room Prior to service


a a. Power on Dell media Desktop(PC1) and/or Laptop(PC2). a a. Open Worship Assistant on the PC.
a b. Power on Dell monitor. a b. Get song list from worship leader or posted list.
a c. Power on Kramer VP-23 video switch. a c. Set up the song list in Worship Assistant.
a d. If using Dell projector, lower the projector screen. a d. Run through songs to make sure mapping is correct.
a e. Select PC1 or PC2 on the VGA video switch.
Auditorium a f. Select Camera on the S-Video switch.
a e. Power on either Dell (center) or NEC (left) projector a g. Load the weekly announcements Powerpoint file
using the remote. shortcut located on the desktop.
a h. Start the announcements slideshow. (F5)
Lobby a i. Set the Lobby projector to VGA/RGB.
a f. Power on Lobby projector using the remote. Start of worship
a j. Stop the announcements slideshow. (ESC)
POWER DOWN a k. Set the Lobby projector to S-Video.
a l. Start the Worship Assistant lyric display. (F5)
Auditorium i. Follow along with the worship leader.
a a. Power off either Dell (center) or NEC (left) projector a ii. Try not to jump from slide to slide quickly if you
using the remote. loose your place, use the mouse and select
the proper slide.
Lobby Start of message
a b. Power off Lobby projector using the remote. a m. Stop the Worship Assistant display. (ESC)
i. Do not switch the VGA input on the switch as
Sound Room this can cause a white or blue screen.
a c. If Dell projector was used, raise the projector screen. After service
a d. Power off Kramer VP-23 video switch. a n. Start the announcements slideshow. (F5)
a e. Power off Dell media Desktop(PC1) and/or Laptop(PC2). a o. Set the Lobby projector to VGA/RGB.
a f. Power off Dell monitor.
