Kindly Reminder
This 2 Din head unit is suitable for MAZDA3 2004 - 2009 (Not suit: New Maz da3 2010). The upgrade version is available now. The units have CAN- BUS, so it can work with Maz da 3 which has on- board trip computer (06- 09 versions). The small LCD screen will be still working. But the menu has a little difference from the old version, you can contact live chat to get the new version pictures. And it doesnt support the BOSE sound system. If you have BOSE in your car you need to ask a technician to do some modification for you or else there will be no sound. The second is that the CDC is available now, but it may affect the iPod function. So our players in stock are with iPod, no CDC. Finally the only way to receive the TV signal is to add an external digital TV receiver.

The unit do es what it pro mises. I have put Navigo n, To mto m and IGO navigatio n so ftware o n the unit witho ut any pro blems.

In the 2 years o f having this unit I o nly had 2 o r 3 freezes o f the unit. They o ccur when I change the time o n the unit. But after a reset o f the unit everything is o k.

Other then tho se 3 freezes the unit wo rked like a charm. Mo vies, MP3's, music o ver Bleuto o th and radio have been used allo t with perfect so und quality.

I bo ught this unit thinking it wo uld be glitchy and wo nt last fo r many years. But the unit has pro ven o therwise. Befo re this o ne I had a expensive Pio neer system in my previo us car, but that o ne was freezing all the time.

I o nly have 3 pro blems witho ut any so lutio n yet (Please tell me if yo u kno w a so lutio n).

1. When I am in navigatio n mo de and I return to the radio o r mp3 to change a so ng I can no t o pen the navigatio n screen again. It runs in the backgro und and gives me directio ns but I can no t see the map any mo re.

2. I can no t uplo ad the co ntact list o f my new Windo ws Pho ne any mo re to the unit (It was po ssible with my o ld blackberry tho ugh).

it's been abo ut 2 weeks since I've had the player. As we have a lo ng new year trip, my wife watch it who le nights and it still wo rks fine. Remo te fo r po wer o n has a little delay. I have to press it twice so metimes. Other than that it is go o d fo r yo ur mo ney. This will pro bably be the last "retail" DVD player I ever purchase. USB and SD card slo t are made to run fo r lo ng perio ds o f times and wo uldn't die o ut o n yo u fo r many years to co me. if yo u're really lo o king fo r a player to last yo u years. Ho nestly I do no t expect this player to last fo r mo re than 2 years but I am expecting at least 1 full year o ut o f it.
