Divide and Rule

Well we know this phrase very well, but this was never used by us
in the past, but it is now more prevalent. Let us recollect its origin.
In the past i.e, in the British rule the imperialists had introduced
this concept (Divide and Rule) in the Bengal state by Lord Rippon,
later this concept (Divide and Rule) is followed in the other parts
of the nation. And this always ignited a revolt against the
imperialists. This is how this phrase had migrated to India.
But instead of leaving the phrase with those imperialists it got/we
had applied it to our constituency. We interpreted this in a different
way and established a new scheme in Democracy i.e., Local self
Government which is based on the above said concept (Divide and
Rule). But this only one side of the coin only and there is another
side of this coin which is a little bitter one.
Now-a-days regions are being divided for the personal interests of
the politicians and being ruled. And this clearly indicates that the
concept (Divide and Rule) is being implemented. Here our own
politicians are nothing but the brutal imperialists.
Even people are being subjected to this concept i.e., categorization
on the basis of caste systems and the rights and benefits are
offered accordingly i.e., at higher educational level in the private
sector these caste systems are being introduced which is nothing
but clear indication of the concept (Divide and Rule).
If we observe the past, to overcome this brutal concept we raised
slogans and fought against it. And those slogans mainly contained
of our national song (Vande Mataram). But the most sickest thing
is that there is a political controversy about the song itself i.e., the
song has to be sung compulsorily in BJP ruled states whereas it is
optional in Congress ruled states. This is nothing but dividing the
nation on basis of a song.
The very song which was used in the past to fight against the
concept (Divide and Rule) is being subjected to the very concept
itself.
The agitation for a separate Telagana state in A.P., and the
introduction of the 27% reservation for OBC’s at higher education
level and also the political controversy over the national song
Vande Mataram are few examples for the above proclamations.
Well these are the problems which are the consequences of the
concept of (Divide and Rule).
United we stand and united we fight for the welfare and
prosperity/goodwill of the nation. This we had done in the past and
we are doing it in the present and we will also do it in the future.
This is clearly evident in many parts of the nation i.e., we are
fighting against the reservations and also we always oppose for
separate state in any part of the nation since it always leads to
conflicts. We always respect freedom fighters and their efforts and
follow them in every way as possible. This is how we stand united.
This is what the prevailing conditions at the central level whereas
this concept (Divide and Rule) is also being applied at the state
level and also the other lower levels.
Strictly speaking this concept (Divide and Rule) exists until there is
no equality among ourselves i.e., whenever a person/group is
categorized on the basis of caste, creed, race, sex, power, money
etc., this very concept comes to play.
