Brief instruction for Machinery library download and

installation:
1. Download Machinery-library-install-tool-2008-05-30.zip
2. Unzip Machinery-library-install-tool-2008-05-30.zip file to your local directory,
such as "d:\Machinary library install tool".
3. Download necessary machine libraries, such as ANSI-Inch-xxxx.zip to "
d:\Machinary library install tool\tool\libs" directory.
4. Read installation instruction in "Machinery library install tool\user guide"
directory
5. For Windows, Start installation by running "Machinery library install
tool\tool\MachineryLibrary-Installation.bat"
6. For LINUX/UNIX, Start installation by running "Machinery library install
tool\tool\MachineryLibrary-Installation"
What's new in version of 2007-Apr

For Machinery Library
First release, it includes 1133 part family. They are zipped in 8 packages:

For Install Tool

First release: Itsupports install to OS path and Teamcenter 2005.
This version just supports new install mode, not supports upgrading library mode.
What's new in version of 2007-Dec

1. There are 1552 part files in this release.
2. New added 304 part template or part family.
3. Revised 1133 part families based version 2007-4-15, added more reference set,
CENTER_LINE, DETAILED_THREAD, and SYMBOLIC_THREAD
All 8 packages are updated.

Revise the logo in user interface.

1. Updated 128 parts files in ANSI-Inch-2008-05-30 to fix PR5902402
Only ANSI-Inch-2008-05-30 is updated.

1. Support more NX version, now the install tool support NX500, NX501, NX502,
NX503, NX504, NX505 and NX600.
Notice:
1. File Machiner-library-catalogue-for-NX502-2008-05-30.xls lists all part
information in Machinery library.

1. Updated 1552 parts to add attribute DESCRIPTION
2. Added 31 new parts, in which, 28 parts are for ANSI to add more fasten parts,
3 parts are for DIN to support ER604623.
3. Fix PR5990288, added entity to default reference set.
4. Fix PR1666613, corrected some member data.

Fix PR1676337 to support long part name in Teamcenter 2007.
Notice:
File Machiner-library-catalogue-for-NX502.xls lists all part information in
Machinery library.

Fix PR1688025 to have better support for long part name.

1. Added 40 DIN parts.
2. Added 8 ANSI Metric profile parts and 8 ANSI Inch profile parts.
3. Fix PR6072262, Machinery Library screw length not defined correctly,
updated 2 parts, Hex Socket Flat C-sunk Head Cap Screw, AI.prt and Spline
Socket Flat C-sunk Head Cap Screw, AI.prt.

None update.

1. Added 282 new parts to support Military Spec.
2. Update all parts which contains thread:
A. Remove DETAIL THREAD and SYMBOLIC THREAD reference set
B. Remove previous detailed thread and extracted body, and recreate it

according to previous parameters. use two suppression expressions to control
the display of detailed thread and symbolic thread.
C. Modify Major diameter of Detail thread equal to Shaft Size of symbol
thread if it is not. Modify Minor diameter of Detail thread equal to Minor
diameter of symbol thread if it is not.
D. Modify Diameter of Solid Body on which thread created on equal to
Shaft Size of symbol thread if it is not.
3. Fixed PR#2114987, split pin model in GB library cant pass examine
geometry

1. Support TC8
2. Update document accordingly.

Fix 2 PRs:
1780475 -- Machinery Library: Part in wrong folder.
Move "Hot Rolled H Sect Steel, IPB, DIN.prt" from folder

"\DIN\Profile\Channel-Section" to folder "\DIN\Profile\I-Beam"
6291990 -- The file name of one KRX file in Machinery Library has an additional
blank space.
Modify Nut, Jam, Hexagon, NASM316.krx.

Fix below PR:
6258612 -- Install path cant be set correctly when update an existing library.
1772559 -- Update of part families with machinery library install tool fail. Added
the steps in user manual to describe how to update library.
6327508 -- Cannot install Machinery library in TC2007.2
1780307 -- TCUA:: NX Machinery Library Tool uses wrong Naming Rule for
Upgrade.
