Fighting System. 1. Sub vendor list for the bought items shall be followed as per revised list of makes furnished along the MOM at Chennai on 27th & 28th (Except Upadhaya Make Valves, We are not accepting the same, So, Pl. remove from your vendor List). If any deviations required you can take the approval from MN Dastur by providing credentials of Particular Vendor after taking the order. 2. The distance between spray nozzle shall be selected such that spray cone end to be matched (Intersect/meet) covering spray cone end of the adjacent nozzle. 3. No Negative Tolerances are allowed for Pipes & Fittings. All The Pipes & Fittings should be considered Heavy Grade (C class) ERW as per IS:1239, Part-1 for below 200NB. The Minimum Thickness are to be maintained for the following pipes (As per IS 3589, ERW). DN 300 7.1mm Thk. DN 200 6.0 mm Thk. 4. Wrapping Coating, Painting & Supports for above ground pipes to be included in Pipe cost. 5. All the Cables should be FRLS & Aroumered. 6. Break-up (Approx Qty. / Items Covered in Scope) of the all items covered in each area (Fire Fighting, Fire Detection & Alarm and Fire extinguishing) shall be indicated along with the price bid. 7. For Coal Conveyors Alternative Price offer for Spray System with Deluge Valves (or) Sprinkler System with isolation & Alarm valve to be Quoted Separately. Up to DV & Isolation valve/Alarm valve on Unit rate basis. Beyond DV & Isolation valve/alarm valve on Lumpsum basis. LHS cable & Spray Line to be considered for Coal Carrying conveyor & idle (Return) conveyor also. 8. Addressable IR Detectors for Coal Conveyors to be quoted on Unit Rate Basis. 9. Provision for Fire Brigade connection (for Fire Tender Filling) with Isolation valve shall be considered. 10. Suppliers has to included Hydrant valves, 7.5 Mtr & 15 Mtr. Hoses 10% of population as a mandatory spares and to be quoted accordingly. 11. Supplier to quote for Special tools & Tackles if any and 2 Years operational spares with priced list separately. 12. All the Fire Detection & Alarm system equipments are to be supplied UL & FM Approved makes. 13. MOC of Hydrants, Couplings & Nozzles should be SS 304. GI Conduits for Cables drops & Risers to be quoted on unit rate basis. Spray Line beyond DV to be considered as GI Pipe. TAC and third party approval as per TAC norms is in Suppliers Scope. All the drawings/Documents under Approval category should be approved by EPC Consultant MND and Owners consultant (DCPL). 19. 2 Spare loops for Main FAP, 1 spare loop each for Local FAPs. to be considered. UPS is excluded from Suppliers scope. 20. Duct Detectors to be quoted on Unit rate basis.
