This proportional pressure regulator controls output pressure in proportion to a setpoint input in the form of a voltage or current signal.

The valve also produces an analog output signal (current or voltage, of same type as the setpoint input) which is proportional to the actual output pressure at port 2. This signal, for further processing by an external control such as a PLC, can alternately be produced by a pressure sensor placed in the air line connected to the valves output port.
