    Movie Poster Worksheet

    Bring to conferences after Thanksgiving, worth 15 points. What project elements and/or pop culture (news) items are you going to mix together?

    What story are you going to tell?

    Who is the audience for this kind of film? Why? What genre is the film?

    On the back of this paper or a separate sheet, roughly sketch out some poster ideas. Considering what weve learned about visual rhetoric and poster design, what would a poster for your imagined movie look like? These sketches can be very rudimentary (stick figures, etc.) but make sure you consider how you will use various images and text to create your desired poster effect.
