Assessment of Academic Performance in Undergraduate and Sequential Specific Training
Art. 103 The evaluation of academic performance must be a systematic and continuous process aimed at the academic training, to ensure acquiring of knowledge and development of skills and attitudes required for the technical and scientific training in established pedagogical course. Single paragraph. The evaluation of academic performance include the frequency and achievement in studies, this expressed in grades, which should be achieved together. Art. 104 Attendance at classes and other scheduled activities allowed only to regularly enrolled is compulsory, being forbidden the excused absences, except legal determinations. 1 - Regardless of other results will be considered failed in the academic discipline the student who do not get at least 75% (seventy five percent) of the time set for the discipline. 2 - For the activities of course conclusion, it may be required more frequency that specified in paragraph 1 of this Article, if so provided in its regulations, approved by CONSUN-Caen. 3- The verification and record of attendance are responsibilities of the teacher under the supervision of the Course coordinator. 4 - The record of attendance shall be made on the appropriate form, in print or digital, provided by the Department of Student Academic Administration. Art. 105 The assessment of the studies will be checked systematically and recorded by individual grade in each subject, according to the proposed goals in the teaching plan, in line with the pedagogical project of the course.

1 - The verification of the fulfillment of the objectives in each discipline will be held progressively during the school year, through the evaluation criteria set out in teaching plan. 2 - It is the teacher responsibility to provide activities that enable acquisition of knowledge in the discipline when the groups of students demonstrate difficulties reaching the minimum standard expected. 3 - The instruments used to evaluate what has been learned in the studies may be oral tests, written and / or practical exercises involving curricular activities written, oral interviews, accompanied or not by practical exercises, study visits, field works, reports, seminars, projects, case studies, self-assessment and other instruments. 4 - All assessment instruments will be defined in advance in terms of education and / or reset during the semester with academic knowledge. Art. 106 The record, in proper form of the assessment of the studies will be responsibility of the teacher's discipline and focus on all evaluation activities, resulting in three (03) partial averages (M1, M2, M3). 1 - The partial average (M1, M2, M3) will be published approximately in the periods that complete 1/3 (one third), 2/3 (two thirds) and late hours of the discipline, on the Academic System Management under the coordination of the Departments of Center and Section of Academic Control. 2 - The teacher may assign different weights to the activities of the studies evaluation, since the academic have advance knowledge, consisting in the teaching plan, and to proceed in the respective registration form. 3 - The evaluation criteria and the values of the items or issues of the matter should be reported to academic writing, the attendance sheet or the introduction of assessment tools. 4 - The partial average (M1, M2, M3) is expressed by notes, graded 0.0 (zero) to 10 (ten), to two decimal places, without rounding. 5 - The evaluation activities undertaken in written form must be returned to the students according to the rules in force. 6 - The assessment record of studies on the final course activities will be regulated by specific regulations approved by CONSUN-Caen.

Art. 107 The final approval average in the discipline should be equal or greater than 6.0 (six point zero), derived from the simple arithmetic average of the three (03) partial averages. 1 - The final average will be expressed by notes, graded 0.0 (zero) to 10 (ten), cannot be fractioned behind or beyond 0.5 (zero point five). 2 The Final Average of intermediate fractions will be rounded as provided below: I - decimal part equal or less than 0.24 (zero point twenty-four) round for integer less; II - decimal part less than 0.25 (Zero point twenty five) round to the middle above; III - the decimal equal or less than 0.74 (zero point seventy-four) round to the lower half; IV - decimal fraction less than 0.75 (zero point seven five) round to the integer above. 3 - The student who does not achieve the overall grade 6.0 (six point zero) is considered failed in the discipline. 4 - The average approval of the activities referred to in Article 112 (monographs, final course activities) shall be equal to or greater than 7.0 (seven point zero.) Art. 108 The evaluation results must be discussed and analyzed with the academics according to the rules in force. 1 - After the discussion and the returning of the writing tests by the teacher, it is the academic option to require review if needed to, to the course coordination. 2 - On the final course activities the review will be optional and will obey the regulations approved by CONSUN-CaEn. Art. 109 Will have the right to take the oral test, written and / or practice in the academic second call those who has been demonstrably unable to attend due to illness (of the student, spouse, children and parents), the family grieving, gala, service compulsory military, high risk pregnancy, acts of God or force majeure, those the criteria of the course coordinator. 1 - The request to conduct the oral tests, written and / or practice in second call will have to obey the resolution itself CONSUN-Caen.

2 - Except for the provisions of this article, it will be assigned note 0.0 (zero) to the academic who fail to submit the evidence provided relevant dates, as well as to what in them using fraudulent means. Art. 110 It is prohibited to the academic, already approved in 01 (a) discipline, redo it with the goal of completing credits or increase the final average. Art. 111 The criteria of the evaluation system and frequency of semi-attending disciplines and distance may be different from presential modality.
