Who We Are and What We Do

Dramakinetics of Cincinnati, a non-profit


organization, seeks to purposefully engage
individuals of all ages and abilities including
those with and without special needs through
performing arts classes. With a specialized staff,
we are the only local organization able to offer
classes to individuals as well as workshops for
professional organizations. Additionally, we offer
performing arts programming specifically for older
adults with Alzheimer’s-type dementia and/or
LAUGHTER developmental disabilities.

Through our classes and our workshops,


we seek to:
• Foster self-esteem and friendships
• Provide an environment respectful of all
individuals regardless of ability
• Create opportunities to work on
developmental goals embedded in motivating
performing arts activities

Community Workshops
If your organization or school has been looking for an integrated, all
inclusive curriculum with a performing arts focus, our specialized staff
at Dramakinetics can help. We provide Community Workshops with
several different focus areas, including:
• Performing Arts for Fun: geared toward general enjoyment
of the arts
• Performing Arts for Function: incorporating specific
developmental or curriculum goals
• Older Adult Programming: focusing on adults with
Alzheimer’s-type dementia and/or developmental disabilities
• Custom: customized to meet your organizational needs

Size Up to 20 participants
Fees $150 per hour for standard courses
$250 per hour of customized offerings
Duration Varies. Workshops can last only an hour in the form
of a one-time class, or can be an ongoing course
at your organization.

Professional Development Workshops are offered in


conjunction with the Ohio Provider Resource Association (OPRA) and
the Special Education Department at Xavier University.
