Summary of the world wide predictions for 1999/2000. After months and years of study, by using different means such as astrology, prophecy and other divinatory methods, this is what I came up with in the end: something BIG is about to happen! We are living in what is called a transition period ; a time when the civilization as we know it will cease to exist, and a new chapter in the human history will open. In other words, long *awaited Golden Age within Kali *yuga is to begin. The good news is that the Y2K computer bug will not be the end of the world. Any problems that would arise would be very short *lived and quickly fixed. The bad news, however, is that something much worse than a mere computer problem may happen to humanity: WW III, earthquakes, volcanoes, floods, pole shift, global Earth changes;(to name just a few). This will be the time of paying a karmic debt, a time of purification and soul growth. Nothing said here is to be accepted as absolute. No one, except Krishna, can tell exactly what is going to happen. Since all living entities have free will, not everything is predetermined to the last detail. If the people would heed the advice of the Vaishnava Acaryas and accept the lotus feet of the Lord in their hearts, much of the predicted could be averted. But, since we still don;t see the people of the world joining together in kirtan, we are to assume that the transition into the Golden Age will be very severe and troublesome for many. But not for the genuine, self *realized devotees who have achieved internal peace. They have nothing to fear, being protected directly by the Lord. For those who don;t feel themselves so transcendental I will try to give here the chronological line of the events that would lead to Golden Age, according to the prophecies from around the world. There is a little problem with dating these events, because prophets could see what is going to happen, but not when is it going to happen. This is because all the information is stored in the Akasha records, but it is not classified as past, present and future from our point in time. This is where the astrology comes in, since it is basically a science of time. If you would just ask any astrologer who knows his stuff, about the positions of the planets for 1999/2000. he will tell you that it doesn;t augur very well. In fact, it is frightening! Conjunctions of Jupiter and Saturn, total solar eclipse on AUG 11, ;99., with grand cross in the sky, then next year on MAY 05, all the planets will align behind the Earth in a straight line, putting so much pressure on our planet, which is a very rare conjunction of planets occurring once in several thousands of years, etc. On the other side, planetary observers would tell you: the South pole is melting, gigantic chunks of ice are or about to break off causing the levels of the oceans rise as much as 60 feet in a near future, increased number of natural catastrophes (earthquakes, hurricanes, volcanoes) worldwide, the Sun is going wild with solar flares causing magnetic storms on Earth, etc. etc. Even the Bhavisya Purana confirms great upheavals are ahead of us. O.K. Fasten your seat belts! Here is a timeline: Period before the war/ Signs to look for: In the words of the prophet from XIX century: ;When flowers lose their smell, when rivers lose their health and when people lose their mercy; at that time will start The Third Great War!;; and: ;Those who will read and write different books with numbers will think that they know the most. These learned

men will let their lives be led by their calculations, and they will do and live exactly how these numbers tell them. Among these learned men there will be good and evil men. The evil ones will do evil deeds. They will poison air and water and spread pestilence over the seas, rivers and earth, and people will start to die suddenly of various ailments. Those good and wise will see that all this effort and hard work is not worth a penny and that it leads to the destruction of the world, and instead of looking for wisdom in numbers, they will start to seek it in meditation. When they start to meditate more, they will be closer to God;s wisdom, but it will be too late, because the evil ones will already ravage the whole earth and men will start to die in great numbers Beside the ecological disaster, these are the signs one should look for to indicate WW III: * changes in the Russian political and military top, i.e. president Yeltsin dies or leaves the office due to illness, and is succeeded by Lebed and/or Zhirinovski, both ultra *nationalists and authoritarian, desiring to bring Russia back its glory; * second Gulf War; military build *up in and around Israel; Arabic countries rallying together and becoming more antagonistic towards Jews and their allies; * possible earthquake of a high magnitude on the West Coast * just before the war we will experience a very mild winter and early and beautiful spring; * the days before the war everybody will talk about peace, peace conferences will be held; then, suddenly, there will be invasion; * the war will be triggered by an assassination of a highly placed official, possibly somewhere on the Balkans. The Third World War Mid *summer (August) 1999: *Russian army attacks Europe from three directions: 1)from northern direction Sweden, Norway; 2) trough Poland and Czech to Germany; 3) from south ;Yugoslavia, Italy, south France; * the Pope will be forced to flee Rome; * the Russians will be driven by hunger and deep envy of imperial West;s material prosperity; * America will be at first reluctant to help allies in Europe, partly because of domestic problems (natural catastrophes, earthquakes, hurricanes) and partly because the Russians will threaten to use the nuclear weapons to destroy big cities in America if they get involved in the conflict; Late summer/early fall (September/October) 1999: * after initial shock the West strikes back; * between the Baltic Sea and Black Sea the ;yellow zone; will be created by the western airplanes; this will be the death zone which no one would be able to cross being so toxic; the Russian army will be cut off; they will not be able to go back or to get supplies from the mainland; * fierce battles will be fought in Germany and Central Europe, mostly in the air; Russians will be defeated, very few of the soldiers who came to fight would survive and get back to Russia; * China will attack Russia from the East; * angered by the defeat in Europe the Russian military leaders order nuclear attack; many cities will be destroyed completely (Prague, Paris;); * people will run away from the cities and hide in the mountains; there will be starvation due to food being contaminated by radioactivity and biological weapons; * Russians will drop the atomic bomb in the North Sea which will cause tidal waves and floods, and destroy east coast of England, (including London), Belgium, Netherlands, Denmark, Norway, Sweden; * Israel will be attacked by joined Russian and Moslem forces; Armageddon takes place; America and Canada will also be attacked over Alaska; big cities will be attacked with nuclear missiles; * America will retaliate; this will cause a revolution in Russia; people will overthrow the military and the politicians who led the country into war;

* ;Only one country at the end of the world, surrounded by great seas, as big as our Europe will live in peace; Upon it or over it not a single cannon *ball will explode!; Fall 1999: * the war will be brought to an end by a heavenly body falling from the sky (meteor, comet, asteroid) and causing pole shift and a series of natural catastrophes worldwide; * in one of his quatrains Nostradamus wrote: ;In the year 1999. and seven months from the sky will come the great King of Terror. He will bring back to life the great king of the Mongols. Before and after Mars reigns happily;; in the French original ;sept mois; could mean either seventh month (July) or month of September; the comet is not visible at the moment because it approaches from behind the Sun and will be seen during the eclipse only; * three days of darkness occur; many people will die being exposed to 8216;dust; (ashes) in the atmosphere; no one should, for no reason, come out of the house, otherwise death is imminent; * after two days and three nights the Sun will be visible again; people will come out to burn the dead bodies; some prophets say that the mankind will be cut down by up to 2/3; * global earth changes, rising of the level of the water of the oceans due to ice caps melting; continents will not look the same as before; * climate will change; Europe will have subtropical climate; * people who survive will be very pure at heart and devoted to God; they will come together to live peacefully, cultivating the land, in harmony with nature; * Golden Age starts. Lights on, please! So, how did you like it!? It could be just a movie or it could be a reality. Time will tell. I tend to think that we have long passed the point of no return. Now it is only a question how severe the changes will be. Even if the war could be averted, earth changes seem to be inevitable.
